Very pleasant stay. Hotel provided both an early check-in and late check-out, that helped us a lot. Very good breakfast spread.
Despite having confirmed rooms that were paid in full in advance and being informed that the rooms would be needed early morning onward, the receptionists were clueless and did not know when the rooms would be readied for check-in. This meant that the hotel had overbooked their rooms, which while it may be a common practice in this industry, is extremely unfair and shameful since a guest did not get the service that was committed to them.To top it off, the air conditioner in the rooms did not work properly and the housekeeping staff was gaslighting us into believing the A/C was working normally, when they clearly were not.Unbelievably unprofessional and incompetent service from a supposed 4-star hotel. I've experienced better hospitality and genuine warmth from everyday people on the streets who embody actual care.Kindly do not commit to a standard of service that the hotel is not currently capable of or interested in providing and maintaining.
