Good resort
I've recently been to Athiva with my family. Except for the Checkin experience,everything was fantastic. Need to have more counters for checkin. Rest, the stay, the ambience, the service, the staff, the food everything was great.
The hotel property is beautiful, and the upgraded room we were given was comfortable and well maintained. However, I felt the room was somewhat overpriced, especially considering that the view we were paying for was not as expected.When we initially checked in, I had requested a few arrangements through Agoda, but unfortunately, these had not been communicated or addressed by the hotel. The room also had a noticeable unpleasant smell, and the AC was not working properly. After I raised these concerns with the staff, they were kind enough to offer us an upgrade, and the new room was much better.For a 5-star property, I would have expected greater attention to detail, particularly when it comes to specific requests made by guests at the time of booking. While the property itself is certainly beautiful and has a lot to offer, I feel the pricing can be on the higher side during certain seasons, and the overall experience should ideally match the premium price point.
