Sorina Hillside Resort Pune

Resort is very calm. it has multiple swimming pools and i nice big lawn. There was rain dance as well, it was good. The food was very delicious and had plenty of varieties you can choose from.

This is the best resort in Pune. It does not feel like a resort like your own home. The food here is very good, it is pure vegetarian, hygienic and clean. It is best for wedding events etc. and the location is very nice. Staff is very cooperative, it is a nice nature silent place.

The resort is located at a very convenient spot and offers so many activities that you can easily spend the entire day without realizing how quickly time passes. The unique concepts and thoughtful planning cater wonderfully to all age groups. added a perfect touch to the overall experience.

We booked a villa at Sorina Resort for 31st December to celebrate New Year’s Eve, with 8 adults and 5 kids (including 4 toddlers), paying around ’45,000 for just one night. This is a premium price, but what we got in return was shocking and completely unacceptable.The villa was in terrible condition: very dark rooms with no natural light, dirty washrooms stinking of urine with visible stains, and blankets so thin they were practically useless, especially if you switch the fan above speed 3. Nothing about the room or basic amenities felt worth the money.The worst part was the food. Behind all the gimmicks and presentation, the food served was clearly stale and unhygienic. All 13 of us fell ill with severe diarrhea after eating there, and the toddlers who tasted the food suffered the most. This is not just poor service; it is a serious health hazard.This is also not my first bad experience with Sorina. I had visited earlier and faced similar health issues after eating their food, but I assumed it was a one-off incident. After this repeat experience, it is clear that they have serious and ongoing hygiene and food safety problems.This review is a strong warning to other families and travellers: visit Sorina Resort at your own health risk. For the price they charge, you are gambling with your wellbeing, especially if you have children or elderly people in your group.It is Extremely Unhygienic & Unsafe. Even 1 star rating is miles above their standard!

The only truly strong point of this resort is the food it was genuinely good. The rooms and pool are decent, but nothing exceptional.This property works well as a destination wedding or event venue. However, for independent leisure guests, the experience is not pleasant when events are happening. Before booking, I specifically asked whether there would be any functions during my stay and was clearly told no. Based on that assurance, I went ahead with the booking. Unfortunately, during our stay, a ceremony was clearly taking place.This mismatch between what was promised and what actually happened affected the overall experience. If the resort primarily caters to weddings and functions, it would be better to stop accepting independent leisure bookings during such periods or be transparent about ongoing events.Maintenance is another concern. The bathroom door knob malfunctioned, and my wife was stuck inside the bathroom for nearly 25 minutes, which is unacceptable and concerning from a safety standpoint.I’m not sure about others’ experiences, but based on mine, I will not be visiting this resort again.
