Hotel Shree Panchratna

Excellent hotel with friendly staff, decent breakfasts, clean and well-maintained rooms.Great location as well, the hotel is within a 5 minute walk from the train station, a 2 minute walk to a catholic church and has numerous street stalls vendors serving delicious hot/cold snacks just outside!But my wife & I were most impressed with the housekeeping staff. They had been with the hotel for over 20 years and took extreme pride in their work! The room was always cleaned thoroughly with the bed nicely straightened and ready for another comfortable night's rest.

Conducted my son's engagement here for which we had blocked nearly 30 rooms. Guest loved the spacious rooms (nothing luxury about them but well equipped - comfy beds, AC, kettle for hot water, good sized bath and toilet, wardrobe, mini fridge). The food served was awesome and guests loved the variety, quality and taste.We had booked the banquet hall for the event which comfortably housed over 250 guests. The halls on the mezzanine floors helped manage the crowd. Not to forget the efficiency of the staff in supporting this arrangement.Service was excellent and had a personal touch.Sharan Shetty and Aziz oversaw the arrangements. Leena at the front desk was super helpful. All staff members were exceptional. Breakfast is a lavish spread with variety of food. I now have pinned this place on my 'must be in' for my future visits to Pune.

The Hotel Shree Pancharatna, Pune booked comfortably through Goibibo was a fabulous property. The facts that I had stayed at this property many times in the past but at least ten years ago hence I was curious as to how it stands today.Exactly as I expected, Hotel Shree Pancharatna, being very close to the Pune Station offered one of my best experiences of staying in Pune, something that I can carry with me always. The property is cosy with a pleasant reception area & very courteous people behind the counters to get you a hassle-free check in experience. The chandeliers, the hung paintings ooze a certain level of class & a bridge to the past glory.The rooms (I had booked two rooms with 5 pax) are the biggest in business with 330 sq ft in size offering a wonderful, lavish comfort. The decor may be a little older yet very classy. The larger sized bathrooms with glass door shower area were the best of the lot. Everything was in the perfect place where you need it.The quality of food at the restaurant, Panchavati is superb & the chef & his team should get full credit for this. We had dinner the first night & had a terrific experience with the quality of the meat very well cooked & very gourmet too. The breakfasts over two days were sumptuous & complete with a wide assortment of choices (changed daily)The restaurant staff as well as the housekeeping staff were always helpful & eager to help with anything you ask for with smiling faces always, so much for the training & policies of the establishment.Overall, I had a fantastic & homely experience at Shree Pancharatna that exceeded my expectations. Hotel Shree Panchratna is one of those rare places from the 90s that has managed to hold on to its classic charm even today. The combination of wood and brass throughout the interiors perfectly captures both form and function ’ simple, timeless, and elegant.One of the things that really stood out to me was the way they’ve used plants in clear, unusual square glass containers. It’s such a clever way to repurpose old pickle jars into functional, aesthetic d??cor. Small details, but they add so much character.The staff deserves a special mention. All the waiters know exactly what they’re doing ’ experienced, attentive, and confident. The reception team is always calm, composed, and consistently helpful.There’s a sense of old-school hospitality here that you don’t see often anymore.The hotel sits right opposite the historic house where Mahatma Gandhi was once brought for treatment, and its proximity to Pune Junction makes it incredibly convenient for travellers.What amazes me most is how beautifully the hotel has preserved its identity over the years. Walking in feels like stepping into a piece of Pune’s history ’ familiar, warm, and reassuring. A place that has stayed true to itself, decade after decade.
