I've been to this hotel many times, the rooms are great, hotel is well maintained, but on my recent visit they now sort of discriminate service based on gender, at the breakfast table they specially asked everyone around if they wanted anything and even offered to pack lunch for the man next to my table who was apparantly going on some train journey, but no one came to ask me even for tea/coffee let alone take orders, not that it mattered or I care, but you'll feel the difference in how they'll treat you if you're sat there alone. Haven't experienced this in other high end hotels ever, and usually how you feel at a place defines it.
