I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt I should share my experience.Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing from start to end.The check-in experience wasn’t great. The receptionist didn’t really explain anything about the hotel, and the interaction felt quite cold. It wasn’t rude enough to complain about at the time, but it definitely didn’t feel welcoming.The next morning at breakfast, a lot of the dishes were empty and not being refilled quickly. Some of the food didn’t seem very fresh either. I had a piece of cake that was so hard that it honestly felt like it had been sitting there for days.What really put me off, though, was the hygiene. While pouring myself a glass of water, I found a mosquito in it. The staff member took it away immediately, but nobody apologized or brought me another.Even worse, I saw a lady serving food at the buffet while repeatedly picking her nose and then continuing to handle the food. I was genuinely shocked. Once you’ve seen something like that, it’s very hard to feel comfortable eating anything from the buffet.I brought all of this up with Mr. Sontu at reception because I felt management should know. His response was basically just ’okay’ and ’certainly.’ There was no apology, no concern, no explanation, and no attempt to reassure us that the issue would be looked into. It felt like he was listening because he had to, not because he actually cared about the feedback.The final frustration came when I was leaving for the airport. There seemed to be only one person handling all the vehicles. We sat waiting for around 10 minutes in the heat for our car while the valet was running back and forth between the parking area and the entrance. When we asked about the delay, we were simply told to wait. Eventually, I had to get out myself and explain that I had a flight to catch and was getting late. I honestly felt bad for the employee because he seemed to be doing the work of multiple people, but as a guest, it was frustrating and poorly managed.The hotel did upgrade our room, which was appreciated. A nicer room doesn’t make up for poor service, hygiene concerns, and the lack of basic hospitality.What surprised me most was that at no point during our stay did anyone simply say, ’We’re sorry.’ Sometimes that’s all a guest expects. Instead, every concern was met with indifference.Based on this experience, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
