Sadda Pind

I visited Sadda Pind during my trip to Amritsar, and it was an amazing experience. The entire place is beautifully set up like a traditional Punjabi village, complete with mud houses, local art, and cultural activities.The vibe is so authentic that you actually feel like you've stepped into a real pind.The highlight for me was the delicious makke di roti with sarson da saag which served hot with ghee and lassi. The lunch was included in the visit and gave a true taste of Punjab.It’s a great spot for families, kids, or anyone wanting to explore Punjabi culture, food, and hospitality in one place. Highly recommend visiting if you're in Amritsar

A wonderful showcase of vibrant Punjabi culture and authentic local flavors! The live performances were engaging, and the overall ambiance truly reflected the rich heritage of Punjab. However, it would be great if the management could consider providing an air-conditioned resting area for elderly visitors and families with young children to relax comfortably. Also, while the traditional drink was refreshing, we were expecting lassi as mentioned’but it turned out to be buttermilk. Still, a memorable experience worth visiting!

This was quite a nice experience for the entire family. For the elders a trip down memory lane where they remembered their childhood days and for children a change to reconnect with their heritage.The ticket price was 850 for adults and 750 for children under 4 feet height. Most of the place comprised of exhibits of various village buidings with some including live exhibits like the handloom and spinning wheel where the the working of the machines was demonstrated by using them. However, the activities other that seeing exhibits starts at about the end where you get some classic carnival rides where you can use your tickets and some other rides like tractor ride. Apparently there used to be horse and bull riding but that appeared to be closed when we went. There were also about 4 or 5 shows including cycle tricks, village daredevils, and gatka.I would reccomend it especially for children and families but people who long for adventure could maybe pass. Except if you're a fan of that sketchy show where they spin around a car in a bowl thing. Overall not bad.

The food served here is delicious and has a homemade touch. The ambiance feels lively and colorful. However, tickets can feel a bit expensive for some, and it may get crowded during weekends. It’s a good spot to enjoy Punjabi culture in one place.

I recently visited Sadda Pind in Amritsar with a group of friends, and it was an incredible experience. The entry fee, which was around ’800 to ’1,000 per person, was well worth it for the variety of activities and attractions available. The premises are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with adequate parking and security, ensuring a hassle-free visit. The serene ambiance combined with friendly and helpful staff stationed at various points made the experience even more enjoyable.There’s so much to do once inside! From engaging magic shows and captivating acrobatic performances to exploring historic mini-museums that showcase Punjabi culture, every moment felt vibrant and enriching. For families with kids, the recreational area with swings and a toy train is a great addition. The entire village is full of picturesque spots, perfect for capturing beautiful photos. It’s a place where tradition meets fun, offering a genuine feel of Punjab's cultural heritage.One of the highlights of the visit was the delicious buffet meal included in the entry fee. The food, served in an unlimited spread, offered a wide variety of traditional Punjabi dishes that were fresh and flavorful. It was a delightful way to round off the day, reflecting the warmth and richness of Punjab’s hospitality. Overall, Sadda Pind is a perfect blend of culture, entertainment, and relaxation, making it a must-visit destination for anyone in or around Amritsar.
