Sansa by the woods- Manor & Spa

Our stay from June 28th to July 1st, 2026, was very frustrating and did not live up to the pictures and promises seen on Google and Booking.com. Paying ₹29,000 for three nights, the value was far below expectations. The reception was almost non-existent; staff seemed unaware of our booking and we waited 15–20 minutes, making check-in feel unprofessional. The "Vatayan room with balcony view" was unusable due to monkeys entering through gaps in the metal netting, forcing us to keep the balcony doors locked the entire time, which defeated the purpose of the room. Breakfast was disappointing with only a few items available and most of the menu missing. The advertised "wood-fired pizza" was misleading, with no oven activity and poor quality. We ended up eating mostly Maggi and bakery items from outside. The room was stuffy, had no air conditioning, and poor ventilation. The bathroom was badly designed with no separation between shower and dry area, causing flooding, and using a face towel to block water was unacceptable at this price. Despite claims, there was no working Wi-Fi in the room. This place feels like a private home poorly managed by an outside operator, lacking basic infrastructure and professional hospitality. The online photos are misleading; the reality is disorganized, poorly maintained, and overpriced. I strongly do not recommend this property.

The hotel was excellent, and its location was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and had a positive overall experience. The breakfast could use some improvement, but aside from that, everything was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
