I recently stayed in a Executive Suite room at Senses and unfortunately the experience was far from what I expected.While booking the room through Agoda, the listing clearly mentioned that the stay included all 3 meal plans. However, upon arrival the hotel staff denied any such inclusion and refused to honor what was stated during the booking. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the front desk staff behaved rudely and were dismissive of the concern.Another major issue was with housekeeping and privacy. Housekeeping staff entered my room without my permission and while I was not present. The “Clean My Room” switch was turned off at the time, which should have clearly indicated that service was not requested. When I raised the issue, the staff argued that they have been doing things this way for the past three years, rather than acknowledging the mistake.What was even more surprising was that the responsibility was shifted onto me. I was told that I should have placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign, even though I was not inside the room and had already kept the cleaning switch off.For a suite stay, basic expectations include professionalism, honoring booking details, and respecting guest privacy. Unfortunately, this stay failed on all three counts. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves staff training and guest service going forward.
