I had a confirmed booking at this property through Yatra during Christmas time.After reaching Goa airport with my family and a minor child, we were informed by the hotel that they would not honor the booking due to a ’rate discrepancy’ on their side. This was extremely inconvenient as we were already on the way to the property.The cancellation was not initiated by us but by the hotel. Yatra later processed a full refund after confirming the property could not honor the reservation.Travelers should be cautious while booking here, especially during peak season, as confirmed bookings may not be honored.

We stayed here for 5 nights and cannot fault any of the staff and their service. Ravji behind the desk organised all our local transport and was really helpful. Everyone was able to accommodate any specific needs we had. The accompanied bar next door was great, nice selection of food and drinks. Beach is less than 5 mins away and if you walk to the left in the opposite direction, the shops, restaurants and supermarket 5 mins away.Recommendation would be to stay here but upgrade to newer rooms if you can as that's what we will do on our next visit.

We stayed at Hotel Silver Sands Sunshine in the last week of December 2025 during our year-end vacation. Overall, it was a decent stay for a short trip.The service was quite nice, and the in-house Angaara Sports Restaurant & Bar located below the hotel was a good addition’pleasant ambience and convenient for meals and drinks.However, there are a few downsides to be aware of. The hotel is a 3-storey property with no elevator, which can be a hassle for senior citizens or people with leg issues. We also noticed termite issues in the top-floor rooms, likely due to the wooden ceiling.Another drawback is the lack of dedicated guest parking. We had to park our car at the beach’s paid parking, which cost us ’600+ per day.Overall, a decent 3-star option with good service and food, but some infrastructure and maintenance issues hold it back from being better.

We have two weeks at this hotel and have received great service and food . The rooms for premium are new with great beds facilities and warm welcoming hosts. The cleanliness is very good its close to the beach and has a pool.. we would definitely come back again Peter and June Hunt
