Soma Manaltheeram Ayurveda Beach

This is my first experience with Ayureda treatment in India. Manaltheeram is nice place to stay, to enjoy the traditionality whenever I look. Rooms are specious, all treatments wonderfull, food delicious, staff very friendly and helful. The time stopped here ’’.The biggest disapointment is the beach which is close to the fishing market. There is such a dirty and rubbish, I couldn't enjoy the walk along the sea. Of course, it is not the property of Somatheeram group, so it would be difficult to change it.

I stayed at this property for just one day. The location is undoubtedly beautiful and convenient, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. However, beyond that, my experience was quite disappointing, especially considering it’s a 3-star property.Firstly, the room tariffs were unusually high, even though I visited during the off-season. The pricing simply doesn’t match the overall quality or service offered.Secondly, the breakfast service was poorly managed. Once an item was finished, it either took more than an hour to be refilled or was never replenished at all. For the price they charge, this level of service felt unacceptable.Thirdly, the Ayurvedic massage experience was extremely underwhelming. It did not include basic elements like steam or a detox drink, which are standard in such treatments elsewhere. The massage itself lacked any therapeutic value ’ the staff barely applied pressure, and there was no attention to detail. It felt more like a formality than a rejuvenating experience.Overall, I came away feeling disappointed, overcharged, and undervalued as a customer. It appears that the property primarily caters to foreign tourists, with little thought given to the preferences and expectations of Indian guests. As an Indian traveler, I felt ignored and belittled, and honestly, it felt like a waste of both time and money.This place has great potential because of its location and rooms, but unless they improve their service quality, pricing, and attitude toward domestic guests, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

You are met by smily staff who are very happy to help you. The room cleaner Vasantha was always happy to give you fresh towels and fresh flowers and the beds are super comfy. Then treatments are very special and you feel they are making you a better version of your self ! Definitely a wonderful place to visit and the view is stunning!

Best therapy you can afford in Ayurveda and Yoga! We were so welcomed by very kind and nice people - every d??tail in the gardens, pool and Beach are extraordinary! The best Healthy and tasty food!! Thanks a lot - we will come back for sure.

It is a great place, wonderful view, great food and great service. I recommend to everyone who want to combine Ayurvedic treatments and enjoying the swimming pool. There are three hotels and you can enjoy the swimming pools in all of them. You can also decide where you would like to go for lunch or dinner. They also organize musical performances with famous Indian performers.
