The Enchanted Nest By Privy Stays

We booked this resort through Agoda, but right from the start, it seems very overpriced. Pros: The food is decent, though it takes 30 to 45 minutes to be served. Wifi is readily available throughout the property. Cons: We stayed in a family room where the AC takes 3 to 4 hours to cool the room properly. There were no toiletries (only empty bottles) or dental kits provided, and the TV quality was poor. The path to the beach on foot is narrow and overgrown, so this place is not really suitable as a beachfront property. The family room is separate from the main building, and it doesn't feel secure since the doors and windows can be pushed open easily. Mosquitoes are plentiful, ruining the evenings. The fan is noisy all night, disturbing sleep. Akshi beach is less clean compared to Nagaon or Kashid. Overall, the price is too high for what you get. We visit Alibaug every two months and know there are better value options available.

The rooms and location are quite pleasant, with beaches just a 10-minute drive away. The kitchen should offer more dining choices, as not all menu items are available and the quality could be improved. It's a nice spot to relax in a peaceful natural setting, but don't expect a high-end restaurant dining experience.

The rooms are tidy and well kept. The food service is quick and flavorful. The staff is also very helpful. A wonderful stay.

I recently stayed here, and it didn't live up to the hype on social media. I wouldn't recommend booking this place. My experience was quite negative because the management was overly controlling. On the first night, a glass broke, and the owner wanted me to cover the cost. I was ready to pay immediately, but they tried to charge me more than double the actual price, around 4000. I offered to pay 2000, but the owner refused. I told him I'd replace the glass myself, as per the rules, and if I didn't do it before checkout, I'd have to pay. However, he kept calling and bothering me and my friend all day. I ended up buying a replacement glass at the market for 1500. After that, the owner accepted it without further argument. I paid the 1500 and left.

Great place with excellent staff, especially Masud and Dev. Thank you for being very helpful.
