The Ivy Anjuna

Our family stayed at The Ivy, Anjuna for six wonderful days, and it was honestly one of the most comfortable hotel experiences we’ve had in Goa.The hospitality began even before our stay officially started. We were given an early check-in and, to our surprise, a complimentary late check-out until 6 PM, which made traveling with family incredibly convenient. That level of flexibility and guest-first attitude deserves special appreciation.The rooms are beautifully designed, extremely spacious, and impeccably maintained. The pool is fantastic, and our family spent a lot of time enjoying it. A special mention to Zaffaran, the in-house restaurant, which served consistently delicious Indian food throughout our stay.What truly stood out was how exceptionally kid-friendly the property is. Families with children can stay here with complete peace of mind. The staff was warm, courteous, and always willing to help.A very special thank you to the hotel manager, whose professionalism, generosity, and commitment to guest satisfaction made our stay memorable. It’s rare to come across management that genuinely goes the extra mile.A few suggestions that could make an already excellent property even better:* The breakfast spread could use a significant upgrade with more variety and quality.* The swimming pool would benefit from additional safety rods/handrails for better security.* Having dedicated poolside assistance or an attendant would further enhance the guest experience.Overall, these are relatively minor improvements in what was otherwise an outstanding stay. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return. If you’re looking for a spacious, family-friendly hotel in Anjuna with excellent hospitality, The Ivy is an easy recommendation.

The in-house restaurant, Zaffaran, consistently served delicious Indian cuisine throughout our visit. The stay was sadly unsatisfactory. We stayed at the hotel a few weeks back and unfortunately did not have a good experience. The staff was rude and started an argument when asked for extra water bottles to be sent to the room, which is a basic need. The receptionist was not helpful when asked for a half day extension (paid) and room service was not provided everyday to at least clean the room. The room we stayed in had a broken toilet seat, broken water heater and stained sheets. Anywho, will not be staying here again when visiting Goa :(

Our stay was disappointing. We were at the hotel a few weeks ago and had a negative experience. The staff was impolite and argued when we requested extra water bottles, which is a basic necessity. The receptionist was uncooperative when we asked to extend our stay by half a day (with payment), and room service did not clean the room daily. The room had a broken toilet seat, a faulty water heater, and stained sheets. We definitely won't choose this hotel again when visiting Goa :(
