I can't say it was my favorite, but for the price, you get what you pay for. I booked a 3-night stay through Agoda. The hotel requested a review instead of direct feedback via WhatsApp (staff's English is okay, but they didn't seem eager to accommodate). Pros: Despite frequent neighborhood blackouts common in India, the lights and AC stayed on. The location is excellent, close to restaurants and tea stalls, with good potential. Halal food options are nearby for those with dietary needs. Tip: If the room isn't cooling well with the AC, close the bathroom door since the fan has an unsealed cutout. Cons: There's street construction, but that doesn't excuse the hotel's interior. Some improvements would help a lot: 1. Set service standards. We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, trash bins, and toiletries, which were basic at other places we stayed in India. For example, when my husband asked for toilet paper, a staff member brought it but opened our door without waiting while I was in undergarments, which was uncomfortable. 2. Cleanliness needs attention. Seal windows and doors, then sweep and mop thoroughly. Dust was thick on floors and stairs. Walls need cleaning and repainting. A towel left in the bathroom made me doubt if it was cleaned or if linens were changed. Towels left in hallways looked messy. 3. Fix plumbing and post signs. Both rooms had plumbing issues, likely because no trash bins were provided and no signs about not flushing toilet paper. 4. Add furniture on the rooftop for guests to enjoy the great views. You could add tents, a hostel area with shared kitchen and showers, herb garden, mocktail lounge, or co-working cafe to generate income. There seemed to be trash, clothes, and sleeping pads up there, maybe staff or others are sleeping there?

Such a great location near restaurants and tea stands. There's a lot of potential. Near veg and halal offerings for those with dietary restrictions.Tip for guests: If the room isn't cool with the ac on, make sure to shut the bathroom door (fan in there with cutout that isn't sealed).Cons: There's construction on the street, but not an excuse for the inside of hotel. A few improvements that would make a world of difference:1. Determine service standards. We weren't provided with towels, toilet paper, trash bins, or toiletries so we had to ask for these items, which have been basic to every place we've stayed throughout India the previous 10 days. An example: my husband came to the front desk requesting toilet paper. Another staff member ran upstairs to get some. The male staff member knocked on our door, didn't wait for me to get to door, so he opened door to our room while I, as a female, was in my undergarments. Probably some misunderstanding, but my husband was still waiting at the front desk and found out later that the toilet paper was delivered to the room.2. Cleanliness. Seal all the windows and close all the doors, then sweep and mop very good. We don't eat where we feel it isn't clean, so you're probably losing out on restaurant and room service from guests. There's dust an inch thick on the floor throughout the hotel and stairwell. Clean in the corners too. The walls need to be cleaned and repainted. There was a towel left behind in the bathroom, which made me question if bathroom was cleaned and if bed linens were even replaced. Towels on console tables in public hallways which made it look disorderly.3. Repair the plumbing and post signs. Both rooms we stayed in had plumbing issues. I imagine it's because you didn't provide trash bins, so expect toilet paper to be flushed because you didn't put a sign up saying not to.4. Put furniture on the rooftop for guests to enjoy. Such great views. Heck, you could put tent glamping setup, a hostel with shared kitchen and showers, herb garden, mocktail lounge, co-working cafe to monetize. There appeared to be a lot of trash and clothing items, and sleeping pads, so maybe staff or others are sleeping there?

Fabulous hotel survive is good but I booked my room online but they changed me extra payment
