Solo Traveller • May 2026Surpassing all expectations, the hotel's design and aesthetics make you feel as if you're residing in a heritage palace transformed into a hotel. The garden is stunning, and the marble lattice work on the railings is exquisite. Our room was roomy, impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished with wood and marble, featuring a grand traditional-style bed, Rajasthani artwork on the wall, and ideal lighting—all at an affordable price. Typically, such luxury hotels are so expensive that middle-class travelers can't afford them despite wanting to stay. I noticed a couple of downsides, like poor bathroom ventilation due to the absence of exhaust fans. None of the toilets, including the common one on the ground floor, had jet sprays, which I found inconvenient. Also, the hotel offers only vegetarian food (which is fine, though I'm not a vegetarian), and the food service could be better regarding wait times and availability. Additionally, I didn't appreciate having to change in the luggage room after a long trip since early check-in wasn't available. However, the overall value the rest house offers greatly outweighs these drawbacks, so I strongly recommend staying here if you're visiting Agra.
