Solo Traveller • Sep 2026I am a bit late to share this review as I was busy with work these past years, but I want to tell you about my experience with this hotel. My family and I went on vacation to Kochi in June 2023 and stayed over 20 days at this hotel, spending more than 1 lakh rupees. We booked a separate single room for my grandmother and a double bedroom for ourselves. You might wonder why I mention the bill amount. We had a good relationship with the Townbridge staff and manager during our stay. However, when we returned in November and stayed for a week, we faced a problem. Our flight was at night, but checkout was at noon. My mother's health worsened with a severe headache, so we asked the staff if we could have a room for 3-4 hours. They refused, saying the hotel was full, even when we offered to pay for an extra day. Checking third-party booking apps showed rooms were available, but they still denied us. Despite knowing us, the manager refused to help, giving the same excuse. We never misbehaved, but once a glass broke accidentally, and they initially charged us ₹200, which we said was too much. They then said we didn't have to pay for the glass. However, they charged us ₹500 for a lost room card during our June stay. It felt like they were taking revenge for the glass incident. This was heartbreaking, especially during my mother's health crisis. I advise everyone not to visit this hotel or spend your hard-earned money here. Instead, choose an Airbnb where you get similar service at a lower price. The hotel lacks proper ventilation (no windows) and room service, and the staff won't help unless you pay them directly. This is definitely the worst hotel in Kochi city.
