Trident, Bhubaneswar

This is the place where we have been staying for the last several years whenever we visit Bhubaneswar from United States. We call it home away from our home. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure we have a comfortable stay. The hotel is very beautiful with a nice garden and jogging/walking trail, very peaceful and has quiet environment which allows for rest and relaxation. Sachin at the front desk with a smile is always so inviting. The food is so delicious with an authentic test to Odisha. A special thanks to Chef Ganesh who takes personal interest to make sure it's exceptional. Prashant at the bar is very skilled and professional. We love this place and thank all the staff for their excellent service.Pani Family

While here on a family retreat I cannot express how ideal and amazing this hotel was. The staff and service was excellent - the pool outdoors is a dream, and the included breakfasts were something to look forward to each morning. I highly recommend staying here, particularly off season when rates are competitive! The art and maps are also a lovely historic and informative bonus.

I recently visited The Trident and found the hotel to be truly impressive. Although it is located on the main road, the moment you enter the property, the outside noise and traffic seem to disappear completely. The ambiance is calm, elegant, and very welcoming.The entrance, swimming pool, and bar area were all beautifully maintained and gave a premium feel. Everything about the infrastructure and overall vibe was close to perfect.However, the food quality needs improvement. The chicken in the curry seemed like it had been boiled separately and then added later, which affected the overall taste and texture. With some improvement in the food, the overall experience could be excellent.Overall, and I hope to see improvements in the dining experience on my next visit.

Visiting from US and decided to stay here with my parents. Trident is a great place to stay, it’s beautiful property and the entire staff is very courteous and professional. Mr. Neeladri was very attentive and ensured that our entire stay remains smooth.Their breakfast is must try, has something for everyone and very delicious. What makes it even more enjoyable is their staff. Mr. Nirmalya was so attentive, he kept tab of our every dietary need. Ms, Muskan, Mr. Suraj, Mr. Prashant and Mr. Amaan were all great.We went to Jagganath ji Puri and it’s convenient place to travel for day trip there.This hotel is also in prime location.I would certainly come back here.

Traveled with family/children and hotel has nothing to offer for children and families on vacation. It is good for business travelers. The service was very good and all staff were excellent. The property has a dated feel now and needs renovation.
