A wonderful quirky hotel with an interesting history. Each room has an individual style with opulent decor. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We were given a personal tour of rooms where Ghandi had visited and Mountbatten had stayed. Dharamshala is an awe-inspiring place.

We had a wonderful stay here. Richly decorated in old colonial features. Amazing fretwork detail, old chandeliers, full of old photos & newspaper cuttings from the time of Indian independence. Breath-taking views of the Kangra valley. The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, to ensure our comfort & well being. They provided advice on local places to see. My wife and I stayed in Welcome heritage hotel for 6 days at Welcome Heritage Hotel Grace, Dharamshala. It was a wonderful experience, with the Hotel being centrally located and all the rooms and terraces overlooking the Kangra valley. The wooded surroundings and unique sunsets helped us relax and made our stay worthwhile. Our room was carpeted, with antique furniture. The bathroom was modern. The room was very airy and got lots of sunlight, which was a boon. The air-conditioner warmed the room adequately.Most striking was the hospitality and bon homie from the staff. Every wish was promptly executed. Mr. Rana the manager was extremely polite and knowledgeable and guide us in exploring the places in Kangra valley.Proven, his attendant likewise served us so well, taking care of the food and room service exceedingly well. I would recommend this Hotel to anybody who wants to relax in a wonderful environment.

We travelled with a 3 year old child n had booked 2 rooms.The hotel is very good, scenic,n the location is very central.The rooms and the whole property is very clean,very courteous staff, good food. The breakfast was very sumptuous n very delicious. The rooms were well heated before we could arrive at the property.A special mention for the manager Mr Inderjeet Rana, he manages the property very well with his team of staff. Would love to visit this Hotel again just to relax,away from the crowd. The highlight was the bonfire set up every evening for us.I would highly recommend this property for stay in Dharamshala.

Mornings here are calm and quiet, with greenery all around, and evenings feel cozy and intimate.The rooms and common spaces are thoughtfully maintained, full of character without feeling dated. Sitting by the wooden windows with a drink, just taking in the surroundings, was easily one of the highlights of my trip.The staff was polite, attentive, and made the stay feel effortless. If you’re looking for a peaceful heritage experience that feels authentic and comfortable rather than commercial, this place is absolutely worth it.Would happily stay here again
