Aloft New Delhi Aerocity

Really nice rooms and amenities at the hotel. Probably one of the nicest alofts I have stayed at. My only complaint was the restaurant selections and pricing for restaurants. However, there's lots of other nice places to be nearby

I recently stayed at Aloft Aerocity for a short time in first week of june.."Excellent stay! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff was courteous and always ready to help. The food quality was outstanding, and every service exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay."

The hotel is nice with good staff but the architecture of the room and the way AC is managed is a huge problem. The bed was comfortable, rooms small but nice, but they are kept very warm and you can’t change the AC too much because it’s regulated by a computer system. The way the rooms are built, the bed is around the corner from the AC, so the cold is just lost to the entrance of the room. We couldn’t lower the temp below 21.5c. We tried with engineering three times but we could never get it lower then 21.5 which made for an uncomfortable sleepness night. We had staff there 5 times so when we were promised at 11pm it was going to get colder we thought it would. By midnight we were exhasuted and had an early flight so we just gave up. The AC was fine if you’re standing in front of it, but the bed area around the corner was much warmer. Because of room configuration they need to keep the room at 20 to make it sleepable. I’m a Lifetime Marriott Platinum Elite so we stay at tons of Marriotts so I was disappointed because we stay in Aerocity frequently and thought we’d start staying here as the other Marriott have gotten too expensive for a layover stay. Unfortunately I can’t recommend staying here unless you like a hot room. Everything else was great, but a hot room is a deal breaker.

Things I liked:- location, staff response time, restaurants, spa centre, on the spot help if neededThings I didn’t like:- staff quick confirmation of doing something and then delayed communication. I had a reservation for two days and room cleaning was done late. I personally met the ground staff at reception and told them to clean the room and also book me a hotel cab for the night to go to the airport. Room was not cleaned even confirmed by the hotel staff and when they sent someone; it was just a minimum work they did. I had high expectations.Same thing happened when I checked out at night; the cab was never booked yet the issue was resolved within few minutes but my family panicked because when they said it wasn’t done before.- unnecessary comments from the staff. I was travelling with my family. We had a great time in india during our stay. We had our own luggage and baby necessities during our stay. When we checked in; the staff who moved the luggage in my room; made a comment on my luggage that it’s too much. Same thing happened during checkout; while loading the luggage into the hotel cab; more than three staff members made the same comment that luggage is too much. I paid for my luggage; I have the right to take my baggage with me wherever I want. If the hotel has this type of rude staff, who do more commenting than doing a proper job. I rather make my future reservation somewhere else.FYI, this was my first time experience at ALOFT.

We’ve been staying at the Aloft Aerocity Hotel for one to two nights every visit to Delhi for the past few years and are never disappointed.The friendly and highly professional staff greet and check you in and out efficiently.The rooms are clean and provisioned with the standard amenities, the beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning works great.We love the food ’ both the wide selection and the taste ’ at their restaurant and its friendly staff. (Having said that the espresso coffee was definitely not that; hint: can’t call it an espresso if it’s missing the crema for starters! But a few sips of the not bad tasting coffee did its job and woke me up just fine.)They have an adequately equipped gym which too I have previously used, though I didn’t have time last week.All in all - I highly recommend this wonderful hotel conveniently located near the Delhi airport and for sure we’ll continue staying there. It’s just one of those establishments committed to easing its guests’ travel stress.
