The Hans Hotel

Hotel is under major maintenance. Entrance is. Closed, Gym, pool entire 15th floor is closed. Restaurant temporarily on Ground Floor. Totally pathetic state.The toilet & bathroom is archaic. Food served cold.Not at all value for money. I had seminar for 3 days in nearby The Lalit (sold out) so selected but totally not a pleasant experience.

The entrance was unrecognisable, no way you could tell this was a hotel, let alone a 4 star one. Even though they said it was under renovation, no efforts were made to make it feel like a good hotel. Spent so much on the stay here, but it was not worth it at all. The price is only due to the location being near CP. The AC weirdly doesn’t go above 24 even though there is an old school knob that goes till 30. Basic stuff like shower heads look rusted up. There are only 2 small elevators for the hotel rooms and the breakfast is pretty average, considering it is 1000+GST for 1 person 1 day breakfast.

The reception staff were friendly, and the room and view were excellent, but honestly, look elsewhere. Avoid a hotel that abandons you at the airport after promising a driver. Choose a place with clear signage, not one hidden behind a creepy parking lot with no signs. Find a hotel where the lights don’t flicker on and off at 4:30am requiring a technician visit. Pick a hotel with reliable wifi that doesn’t need a technician to fix it. Avoid places that cause food poisoning. Make sure the hotel charges the rate they promised—7,000 plus tax, not over 11,000 as they did. If you have mobility or vision issues, beware of an unmarked two-inch metal barrier at the entrance, which is just a removed window pane and could be dangerous. Stay somewhere where staff actually read their messages. This hotel caused me so much stress. Aside from that, the room and view were great.

Overall appearance of the hotel was a setback (renovation in progress)The rooms are dilapidated.Shower gel was empty, realised only after getting into the shower!Thought of making a coffee for myself only to realise that the electrical kettle was worn and loathsome, sugar packets were breached and wet of humidity.The breakfast buffet was good.My room was on the 19th floor, and the view from the window was breathtaking as the property is at Tolstoy Road, Barakhamba.Definitely avoidable for a price of ’7000+ per night.

The hotel's overall look was disappointing due to ongoing renovations. The rooms were in poor condition. I found the shower gel empty only after stepping into the shower. When I tried to make coffee, the electric kettle was old and unpleasant, and the sugar packets were damp from humidity. The breakfast buffet, however, was good. My room was on the 19th floor, offering a stunning view since the hotel is located on Tolstoy Road, Barakhamba. Considering the cost of over ₹7000 per night, I would recommend avoiding this hotel.
