We had a wonderful stay at The Manor, a charming boutique hotel located in New Friends Colony, one of South Delhi’s most upscale residential neighborhoods. The area is gated, green, and feels far removed from the bustle of the city.The rooms are impeccably clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with lovely views of the surrounding greenery. The hotel truly feels like a calm oasis in the middle of Delhi. We were also pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite, which made our stay even more enjoyable.One minor drawback was that booking a cab through Ola or Uber was unexpectedly difficult at times, though we’re not sure why.The dining options are excellent. Monique, the French pâtisserie on-site, is a real gem, and we also had dinner at Inja, which is featured on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list. Both were highlights of our visit.Overall, I would highly recommend The Manor to anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish, and intimate stay in Delhi.
A lovely boutique property with large rooms in a great location - but quality of service did not feel up to standard. The owner and porters were lovely but guest services staff weren’t very customer centric (e.g., no offer to complete check in the morning after flying in at 1am, no help offered by reception for arranging porter services / alternatives to in-room dining while restaurant was being refurbished when asked). For Indian standards, service did not feel 4 star. Also, the property could really benefit from a pool!
Loved our stay at The Manor. We really appreciated the whole staff for being so kind. We also enjoyed the restaurants and cafes at the property. Location is great too if you plan to explore sites like Humayun’s Tomb and Lotus Temple.
