Beach Gate is a heritage property that has been restored and features separate twin houses that were constructed for the Cochin sterling businesses in the 1950s. Each bungalow has a fully furnished kitchen with a chef on call, three bedrooms, and a dining area with a view of the private pool. The bungalows at Fort Kochi are a classic example of a British settlement with a contemporary twist. Free use of bicycles, a lounge, and a communal kitchen are available to visitors. A dining area, a private bathroom, and a balcony are extra amenities. The property is 27 miles from Cochin International Airport, a short stroll from Fort Kochi Beach, and among attractions including Mattancherry Palace and the Kochi Biennale.

Our group of eight stayed at the Beach Gate Bungalow West on June 13th to celebrate a birthday. It was a refreshing change from a resort environment, where one is surrounded by other guests and staff. We specifically chose this property because we were a large group and wanted a private pool for the kids to enjoy. They had a fantastic time! The property manager, Arun Joy, Junaid and the rotating security staff were most accommodative to our needs - there when we needed them but otherwise unobtrusive.

We stayed 2 nights here. Beautiful property, well maintained spacious and comfortable. They take care of the guests very well. Customer Experience is excellent. Breakfast is a 5 minute walk away at Eighth bastion and the service there is very good too. Mr Arun the property manager made sure we were very comfortable.

Booked this property for a family holiday. Amazing location, not too far from everything!Arun was exceptional with his friendly attitude, went out of his way to ensure my family had a wonderful time! The facilities were very clean, the pool was well maintained and the kitchen was well stocked. A special thanks to Sabith who was extremely thorough and professional, handled all of our requests well.If you want a relaxed, quiet and wish to spend time with family in a private villa, don’t think twice.

We spent 3 nights at Beachgate....arrived late and Arun was there to get us settled in. He also had dinner from the Eighth Bastion Hotel delivered to our residence. The place is very well maintained and the rooms are spacious and clean. The bungalow, with a full kitchen and a swimming pool, worked well for our family of 4. Arun and his colleagues at the Hotel (10 min walk) were absolutely wonderful, helpfull and welcoming. The whole experience was memorable!!
