TV didn’t work, and the bathroom was very small. Worst of all, the manager was extremely rude — he mistreated my aged parents, demanded upfront payment despite advance already made, and denied even basic things like tea during the stay. They arrived drenched in rain and were still treated poorly. Only after the owner intervened did things improve. The owner was helpful and is a good human being, but we strongly recommend a change of manager.
Stayed 6 night. Location is in an alley, very close to the river. Silent and safe. Nice and supportive staff.

Nice guest house with very reasonable prices for Varanasi. ’’ The view from the bedroom "with view on the Grange" is marvellous ’’ (check my picture), the staff is very helpful, welcoming and smiling ’’, the AC, essential in May, works so well ’’, the terrace is cool ’’ and the location of the guest house is perfect ’’. Don't hesitate. Thumb up to Bhadra Kali Guest House ’’ !
