We spent our pearl anniversary day with a calm and quite support.
It’s definitely not worth to be called a 4 Star Hotel. You need to enter the hotel with a personalized cooler coz this 4 star property keeps their centralized AC switched off. No AC in the lobby. And in the passage way to your room. There are 2 elevators both in horrible condition. And let’s not even talk about the WiFi. It’s open WiFi in a 4 star property and even that open WiFi does not work. There is no smart TV in the room it’s the one with a regular cable connection. I travelled solo and had booked via Agoda coz they gave a good deal. Though I reached by 12 they said the room will be available only at 2.30 pm which is their check-in time. To avoid waiting in the furnace hot lobby without AC, I stepped out and returned around 4 pm. The room assigned to me was pathetic with AC not working. The phone in the room was also not working l. So to complain about the AC I had to walk down to the reception and after a while around 5.30 pm I was given another room thankfully where the AC was functional. My flight the next day was at 9pm from Cochin so I requested for a late check out by about an hour as their Check out time was 11.30 am. The request was denied saying they were fully booked. And when I came down to the reception they were telling new guests that they have rooms available but will b available at 2.30 pm only.I really pity the staff working there who have to survive their entire shift in this humid n hot weather of Kerala without any fan or AC coz the management is saving money by keeping their centralized AC switched off. Casino hotel management should visit 3 star properties in Mumbai which are much better with their hospitality service and the amenities.
All fine, except Molds in AC air and the room smelled mold.
