Good place to stay. Service needs improvement, especially in the restaurant. Breakfast timing is very important for business travelers and should be adjusted accordingly.

Bad hotel, expensive, not worth the money

I enjoyed a pleasant stay at Moti Mahal Residency. The rooms were exceptionally tidy and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable visit. A small note for upcoming guests: the property is adjacent to a railway track, which could disturb those who are sensitive to noise, but on the whole, it was a wonderful experience.

I stayed at Mothimahal Residency with my friends, and overall it was a good experience. The rooms are large and come with nearly all the necessary amenities. The hotel is situated near the Thrissur Round, across from a pond, and the morning view through the room’s glass windows is really lovely and refreshing. The breakfast was fulfilling with a nice variety of options. However, there are a few downsides. The parking area is limited because the property is close to the road and lacks a proper boundary wall. Even though a security guard is usually present, parking can still be somewhat inconvenient. Another problem is the centralized air conditioning system. When there is a power outage, the AC does not turn back on automatically when power is restored. It must be turned on again with the remote each time, as there is no manual wall switch. This can interrupt sleep at night if the electricity goes out unexpectedly.
