Rooms are big & spacious but the AC is of a lower capacity and faces a challenge in cooling the room. The in house restaurant serves veg food only. It is slightly pricey though. The breakfast buffet is average.Swimming pool was in accessible as works were being carried out there.

We booked a Jacuzzi room. The food, staff and room were good. The only thing lacking was hot water in jacuzzi, which made it impossible for us to use it in such cold weather. Other than that we had a nice stay.

I recently stayed at Mandav Heritage Resort, and it turned out to be one of those experiences that make you want to extend your vacation.Rooms:The rooms are immaculately clean and beautifully designed — simple yet elegant, with cement finish floors instead of the usual tiled ones. This small detail perfectly complements the heritage theme of the property and adds a very cozy, rustic charm.Pool & Ambience:The swimming pool is located right at the center of the resort and is kept spotless. What I loved most was that you can order food while relaxing by the pool — a thoughtful touch that adds to the leisure vibe.Staff & Service:The staff is extremely polite, well-trained, and professional. From check-in to checkout, they made sure everything was handled smoothly. A couple of special mentions:Mr. Ram Gopal at the restaurant deserves full marks for his professionalism and warm demeanor. He not only served us excellent meals but also took the time to share information about the hotel facilities and nearby attractions.Mr. Narayan from housekeeping/new reception area went out of his way to help me make arrangements for my wife’s birthday celebration. His proactive attitude really stood out.Birthday Celebration:The only area of improvement I would point out is that the resort currently does not have an in-house setup for special celebrations. Initially, the main receptionist mentioned they don’t organize such events, but with a bit of follow-up, they helped arrange a cake and candles from the nearby town. Eventually, with the support of the ground staff, I was able to decorate the new reception lobby myself, and we had a lovely celebration. Still, I would recommend the hotel to consider introducing basic celebration packages for birthdays or anniversaries — it would really enhance the guest experience.Food:The food is delicious — every dish we tried exceeded expectations. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety, and the à la carte menu is rich in options. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.Additional Tip for Travelers:Not directly about the resort, but it’s worth mentioning — local commute options in Mandu are quite limited. I’d strongly suggest bringing your own vehicle or pre-booking a cab to avoid last-minute inconvenience while exploring the beautiful heritage spots around.Overall Verdict:Mandav Heritage Resort is a charming property that beautifully captures the essence of Mandu’s history while offering modern comfort. Clean rooms, excellent food, a lovely pool, and genuinely caring staff make it a great choice for couples and families alike. With minor improvements in celebration arrangements, this place could easily be a five-star experience.
