What should have been a comfortable and smooth trip turned into a physically exhausting and incredibly stressful ordeal due to deceptive management and zero regard for elderly guests.Upon arrival at Derby Green, my parents were subjected to a classic "bait-and-switch." The management told them they were being redirected to stay at their sister property, Club Mahindra Danish Villa. To get them to agree to this change, the staff explicitly promised that the facilities would be identical and, most importantly, that they would be given a ground-floor room to accommodate their age and mobility needs.It was a complete lie.When my elderly parents reached Danish Villa, the reception team flatly denied them a ground-floor room, claiming none were available. They were shoved into a first-floor room, forcing them to painfully climb up and down stairs every single time they wanted to leave.Why you should avoid booking here for elderly family:Total Disregard for Special Requests: The Agoda booking explicitly highlighted that the guests were senior citizens and required appropriate room placement.Empty Promises to Force a Relocation: Staff will promise absolutely anything (like guaranteeing ground-floor access) just to push guests to a different property, with zero intention of honoring it.Zero Internal Communication or Empathy: Shunting elderly people between properties and then making them climb stairs displays a complete lack of basic human consideration and hospitality.Club Mahindra completely failed my parents. If you are booking for vulnerable or elderly family members and expect a resort to actually honor their commitments, look elsewhere. This management cannot be trusted.

I reserved a stay at Club Mahindra Derby Green via Agoda for my elderly parents. What was supposed to be a relaxing trip turned into a physically draining and very stressful experience because of misleading management and no concern for older guests. Upon arrival, my parents were told they would be moved to the sister property, Club Mahindra Danish Villa. The staff assured them the amenities would be the same and promised a ground-floor room to suit their age and mobility. This turned out to be false. At Danish Villa, the reception refused to provide a ground-floor room, saying none were available, and placed them on the first floor, forcing them to climb stairs painfully every time they went out. Reasons to avoid booking here for elderly family members include: ignoring special requests noted in the Agoda booking about senior guests needing suitable rooms; staff making false promises just to relocate guests; and a total lack of communication or empathy, making elderly guests climb stairs without consideration. Club Mahindra let my parents down completely. If you are booking for vulnerable or elderly relatives and expect the resort to keep its promises, look elsewhere. This management is not reliable.

My brother surprised us by booking rooms during this peak season, which was unexpected. The location is perfect and easy to reach. We were amazed to see an all-women staff, including security. Wow. I've visited many Club Mahindra and other resorts, but this one tops my list. Their courteous and always smiling service impressed us a lot. The staff multitasked efficiently; for example, reception staff helped in the kitchen and vice versa without any complaints. A big thumbs up to the amazing women staff and their teamwork. The food was satisfactory and met our needs. As vegetarians, the variety was somewhat limited. Special thanks to gardener Ms. Banu, who patiently shared information about the plants and flowers while doing her work. She has maintained the garden beautifully, which explains their many awards at flower shows. Note - This is strictly my observation and suggestion. Adding one more staff member could elevate the excellent service so guests never feel unattended. We will definitely visit again to enjoy the hospitality. Also, a signboard at the roundabout near the church would help, as the 3-4 roads there often cause confusion. A strategically placed board would enhance visibility and image. Kudos to the women power there.
