Our stay at Venus Hotel, Ooty, from 1’5 June 2026 was very disappointing.The hotel appears to be poorly maintained. The door locks did not function properly, which raised concerns about safety and security. The windows also could not be locked properly.Cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The bed sheets appeared not to have been changed after the previous guests, as we found hair on the bed. The pillow covers were filthy, and the toilet was very dirty. Even the toilet doors would not close properly.Throughout our stay, we had the impression that the management was more focused on making money than on providing quality service and a comfortable experience for guests.Based on our experience, we would not recommend Venus Hotel to others.

Disappointing Ooty Stay

Our visit to Venus Hotel in Ooty from June 1 to 5, 2026, was quite unsatisfactory. The hotel seemed to be in poor condition, with malfunctioning door locks that made us worry about safety. The windows also couldn't be securely locked. Cleanliness was well below what we expected; the bed sheets seemed unchanged from previous guests as we found hair on the bed, the pillow covers were dirty, and the bathroom was very unclean. Additionally, the bathroom doors did not close properly. During our stay, it felt like the management prioritized profit over delivering good service and a comfortable stay. Given our experience, we would not suggest Venus Hotel to others.
