OYO 1531 Vels Grand Inn Hotel

The hotel's location is quite good; however, my overall experience was disappointing, especially for families.The room was very congested, and basic amenities such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, and shampoo were not provided initially. I had to call the reception to request them. Additionally, I was charged extra for an early check-in of just three hours, even though rooms were readily available.One of the biggest inconveniences was the check-in time of 12:30 PM, which is not traveler-friendly. The hotel did not even provide a complimentary bottle of water, which is a basic courtesy offered by most hotels.Considering the room rate of around ’2,000 per night, the facilities and services provided were far below expectations. The hotel does not offer value for money.Overall, I am very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I honestly don’t know how this place is operating as a hotel. This was easily one of the most unpleasant stays I’ve had.The room was absolutely filthy ’ dust on surfaces, stained bedsheets, and a terrible smell as soon as I walked in. It felt like the room hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. Basic hygiene standards were completely missing.The bathroom was even worse. Unhygienic and unacceptable ’ dirty floor, unclean toilet, and visible grime. Towels looked reused and poorly washed. It was genuinely uncomfortable to even step inside.What made the experience even more frustrating was the staff’s completely unprofessional attitude. When I raised these issues, they were dismissive and showed zero concern.To make matters worse, I requested a room change, and they flat-out refused, even though a better room was clearly available. No explanation, no willingness to help ’ just a rigid and careless response.This is not just poor service, it’s a lack of basic respect for guests. Cleanliness, hygiene, and customer service are the bare minimum in hospitality, and this place failed on all three.I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel unless you’re prepared to deal with unhygienic conditions and indifferent staff.

I stayed at Hotel Vels Grand Inn for two nights, and overall my experience was quite good. The hotel is located on 100 Feet Road, which is a major advantage. This location makes it very convenient to move around the city, as the bus stand is close by and public transport is easily accessible. Because of this, commuting to different nearby areas was simple and hassle-free.The hotel is budget friendly, well maintained, and clean. I booked two AC rooms, and both rooms were provided in good condition. The rooms were neat, clean, and properly maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and hygienic, which made the stay pleasant. Housekeeping did a good job, and the overall cleanliness of the rooms met my expectations for a hotel in this price range.One thing to note is that the hotel does not have an in-house restaurant, so you need to arrange food from outside. However, since the hotel is located on a busy road, there are several food options and hotels nearby, so it was not a major issue for us.Overall, Hotel Vels Grand Inn is a good choice for travelers looking for a clean, affordable, and conveniently located stay. It is suitable for short stays, business visits, or budget travelers who prefer a simple and comfortable place without luxury add-ons. I would consider staying here again in the future.

Poor Management. Yet to get drinking water & bathroom requirements. TV also not working. AC also not properly worked.
