Hotel O Aruthraa Residency

When I arrived to stay, the hotel staff asked for a price higher than what was listed on OYO. I tried to explain that the OYO price was much lower, but they refused to accept it. Instead, they arrogantly told me to either pay their demanded amount or find another hotel. The staff's conduct was very disappointing and unprofessional. They spoke rudely and were unwilling to lower the price even by ₹100. For a stay where I checked in at 7:30 AM and left at 11:00 AM, they charged an excessively high fee. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. Please reconsider before booking here.

They asked extra money after visiting. Not at all listening to us. We need to pay extra or we have to go.. no refund of money.. terrible experience. Please don't book this

The place is nice and the room is roomy. However, the owner is unpleasant and constantly demands extra payment despite having a prior reservation. I had a hard time with my 6-year-old child, and they refused us entry even at 11:30 PM. Additionally, there was a leak in the washbasin.

No parking available and the bed was the worst I've ever encountered.

I reserved a family room via OYO (Booking Ref: TPC85614) on April 25, 2026, for a stay on May 8, 2026. Prior to booking, OYO representatives repeatedly called me to make an advance payment and pressured me to finalize the reservation. Even after paying and booking, I contacted them multiple times to confirm the family room's availability, and they reassured me several times, including the day before my trip. However, when I arrived at the hotel on May 8 with my family and children, the staff had no record of my booking and no rooms were available. I called OYO customer service over four times, but my calls were put on hold without any callbacks or proper assistance. Traveling from another state and unfamiliar with the area, this caused significant stress and inconvenience for my family. Eventually, after a long search that evening, I found another room elsewhere. This was a very disappointing experience with OYO. Families traveling with children should be cautious when booking through OYO, especially for confirmed family rooms. While bachelors might manage, families could face serious problems if bookings are not honored.
