Kanavu Valley View

Five friends decided to escape to Ooty for the weekend and stayed at Kanavu Valley View Resort. We found ourselves in a huge 2-bedroom with a hall, incredibly spacious. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking panoramic views that made us forget about city life. Throughout the day, the food felt like a comforting embrace, each bite reminding us of homemade meals and family dinners. Shri. Anto and his team were always present and helpful, treating us like royalty and ensuring we had no worries. Kanavu Valley View Resort offered us a mix of excitement, comfort, and unforgettable memories.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at Kanavu Valley View Resort, Ooty, for making our stay so warm, cozy, and unforgettable. Prasanna Ma’am – IT Admin, we appreciate your guidance about the nearby Ooty farms and your constant availability whenever we needed assistance. Achu – Chef at Kanavu D Cafe, your delicious dishes like chicken loaded fries, watermelon juice, spicy burger, peri peri fries, sandwich, and especially the ginger tea were perfect! Your kind gesture of cutting watermelon pieces specially for Hamdan touched our hearts deeply. Hari – Operations Manager, thank you for smoothly handling our booking and formalities, making everything easy. Jithu & Basil – Housekeeping, your kindness and patience with our toddlers meant a lot, and we’re grateful for your thoughtfulness in letting us pack breakfast for the kids. Shaba Fathima – General Manager, meeting you on August 15th while you prepared for Independence Day was special; your immediate kindness in giving me a flag and the warmth you showed Hamdan and our family will always be remembered. To the entire Kanavu Valley View Resort team, thank you for providing not just a beautiful place to stay but wonderful memories to cherish. With sincere gratitude, thank you, Team Kanavu!

Initially, I was unsure when my friend booked the resort for our gathering, but being there completely changed my mind. The cottage we stayed in was a 2 BHK apartment on the upper floor, independent, clean, spacious, and decorated in a homely style. The balconies overlooked the valley, adding to the peaceful and charming atmosphere. The resort staff were hospitable and quick to provide good service and tasty food. In the evening, they arranged a bonfire. Although there were a couple of other families with children staying, the room layout ensured privacy for each guest. We had a wonderful time with our group of friends, and this place is definitely saved for my next visit to Ooty.

This is among the top resorts in Ooty! Our stay was wonderful and unforgettable. The rooms are large, impeccably clean, and provide stunning valley views that enhance the experience. The property is well-kept throughout, and the hospitality stands out. We appreciated the warm greeting, professionalism, and outstanding guest service. Everything was well-coordinated, ensuring our comfort from beginning to end. A convenient aspect is that the resort sends all the rules and the restaurant menu via WhatsApp after check-in, which is very helpful. Located conveniently on the Ooty–Coonoor highway, just 4 km from Ooty town, the resort offers a spectacular view of the famous toy train from the reception and dining areas—truly memorable. Though the food menu is limited, each dish is freshly made, tasty, and flavorful. The breakfast is simple but fresh, delicious, and satisfying. In summary, the experience was excellent with great service, lovely surroundings, and a calm environment. Highly recommended for visitors to Ooty. We look forward to returning. A well-earned 5 out of 5!
