Do not trust the photos. Our experience at Casa Bonita, Ooty was very unsatisfactory. There was no assistance with our luggage, and the place seemed empty with very few staff members present. We were the only guests for most of our three-night visit. The free breakfast was repetitive each day, offering only idly, poha, and upma, with no options suitable for families or children. Additionally, our room was overrun with cockroaches. When we reported this, the manager responded rudely and defensively, showing no empathy or willingness to fix the issue, instead blaming us and speaking harshly. The hygiene was poor, hospitality lacking, and customer service awful. I would not return and strongly recommend families avoid this hotel.

We are not frequent travelers, but this place looked nice from the outside. However, the rooms inside were dirty, and cockroaches were the only companions. We had no idea whom to complain to since the caretaker seemed uninterested. The caretaker lady appeared only on the first day and at checkout; we never saw her around during our stay. There was no one to help with luggage, so we had to manage ourselves. The food was terrible and seemed to depend on your state of origin. For example, if you're from Tamil Nadu, the food was poor—only idli was available, and it was poorly cooked. When we asked, the caretaker rudely suggested we eat outside, saying no one forced us to stay or eat there. I advise travelers to avoid this place. Overall, Casa Bonita is not worth staying at. I gave one star only because the system required it to post this review.

When we arrived, no one came to help with our luggage. The hotel is located in a rather isolated area, and during our stay (Thursday and Friday), we were the only guests with just one room occupied. There were hardly any caretakers available, which made the place feel deserted and uncomfortable.Although breakfast was included, the options were very limited—only idly, poha, and upma every day. There was nothing suitable for children, especially considering we stayed for three nights.The biggest issue was cleanliness. There were cockroaches all over the room, which made our stay very unpleasant. When we reported this to the manager, instead of addressing the issue professionally, the lady manager spoke to us rudely. She wasn't even present at the property during most of our stay and only came on Saturday when we were checking out. Rather than apologising or taking responsibility, she argued with us and spoke in a harsh tone.Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. Good photos cannot make up for poor cleanliness, lack of staff, limited food options, and unprofessional customer service. We would not recommend this property, especially for families travelling with children. The lady comes with a guy over there and shouted on the day we left! Worst behaviour by the two people! They are not allowing us to speak at all!

We chose Casa Bonita, Ooty through Agoda because of the appealing photos, but our actual stay was very disappointing. The exterior of the property looked nice, but the hospitality was lacking. No one helped us with our luggage upon arrival. The hotel is in a somewhat remote location, and during our stay on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we were only one of two guests. There were very few caretakers around, making the place feel empty and uneasy. Although breakfast was included, the choices were very limited—just idly & poha or idly & upma each day. There was nothing appropriate for children, which was a problem since we stayed three nights. The biggest problem was cleanliness; cockroaches were everywhere in the room, making our stay unpleasant. When we told the manager, instead of handling it properly, the lady manager was rude. She was mostly absent during our stay and only appeared on Saturday when we were leaving. Rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, she argued and spoke harshly. Overall, this was one of our worst hotel experiences. Nice photos don’t make up for poor cleanliness, lack of staff, limited food, and unprofessional service. We wouldn’t recommend this place, especially for families with kids.

We stayed at Casa Bonita for two days last week. Both the setting and the property were excellent, and the food was good as well. However, we were very disappointed with one issue. After having dinner on the first day, we did not receive dinner the following day because the cook was supposedly on leave. Considering we were the only guests, the cook should have been available to prepare our meals, or the management should have arranged for someone else in an emergency. Unfortunately, no arrangements were made, so we had to order food from outside via Swiggy, which was a bad experience. Our second disappointment was with the breakfast. Although it was included, the choices were very limited, and we had to eat only what was prepared. If we asked for anything specific, they were unwilling to make it. I urge them to address these two problems because this experience was very disappointing. Due to this, we will not return or recommend this place to others, especially since we had a child with us and faced difficulties with the child's meals when dinner was not provided the next day because of the cook's absence.
