Very Disappointing Experience – Would Not RecommendThis was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.* The room provided was completely different from the one shown during booking.* Several floor tiles were broken.* Drinking water was not available.* The water heater was not working properly.* The windows and doors were very old and poorly maintained.The room shown in the Agoda listing is misleading, and a completely different room was allotted. This feels like a scam, and it’s disappointing that Agoda supports such misleading listings.I requested to cancel today’s stay and asked for a refund of the remaining amount because the room did not match the booking, but both the hotel (Tulips) and Agoda denied my request.Very, very poor experience with both Agoda and Tulips. I would not recommend booking this property through Agoda.

We made a booking but needed to arrive early, and they assisted us with early check-in without much hassle. The highlight was when we mentioned some issues with our rooms from the night before, they upgraded our rooms at no extra cost. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. We're enjoying our stay here.

My experience at Tulips Village Resort was very disappointing. To start with, the staff is inadequate, and they often use excuses to avoid fulfilling requests. The resort does not have its own restaurant, so no food is available on-site. There is a restaurant upstairs, but room service from there often delivers cold food and charges extra parcel fees, asking for payment each time food is brought to the room. Additionally, when you call to request things like extra plates or tissues, the staff responds rudely and refuses to provide them.

The room experienced regular power cuts without any backup generator available. Essential items such as dental kits and plates were not provided at all. The check-in and check-out hours (1 PM to 11 AM) seem impractical, and the walls offer poor sound insulation—you can easily overhear entire conversations from adjacent rooms.

My stay at this hotel yesterday was a complete disaster from beginning to end. They lack any sense of customer service. They failed to provide even basic items like a dental kit, cutlery, plates, or spoons, which should be standard given their prices. If you book through third-party apps, be ready to be deceived—they switched my room upon arrival to one with the worst possible view, very different from what was shown online. The front desk staff were rude and discriminatory, being polite only to out-of-state guests speaking other languages while treating native Tamil speakers with disrespect and low priority. This kind of treatment towards local guests is unacceptable. I recommend saving your money and choosing another hotel, as this one is biased and unprofessional.
