Room has nothing except bed, bed sheet and old style bathroom. Tv has only local channels. There’s no AC, TV, towels, water bottles. Building is very old. Not worth for the money ..
I had booked 3 rooms for my family trusting Agoda on the displayed hotel photos. To my and my family's surprise the rooms were no where near as shown in the pictures. Rooms were shabby. From walls to bed to washrooms everything was ill maintained. The whole place looked unhygienic. I placed cancellation request with *** (Orchid Inn manager) he said connect with Agoda and Agoda's willingness for full refund he (***) said he will oblige. Based on my discussion with Agoda's customer representative I was been told *** is not willing to refund. Thats hypocrisy. I observed *** during those moments he was just processing requests for rooms and no respect for complaints, coming from other guests too. The caption says Luxury rooms available but there is no luxury about these fake and fraud people.Agoda did listen to my inputs on Orchid Inn patiently but offered to make only 20% refund which I have rejected. There is internal discussion going on. I hope to have full refund made.My analysis: I think Orchid Inn was not personally verified by Agoda team before onboarding and if verification was done then something is fishy here. The room is nowhere closer to ***/night and I paid round figure *** /night. Simply fraud.All these events occured when arrived in Ooty late evening on 22 May'26. I was lucky to find another hotel with essentials needs a tourist could ask for. Definitely forgetful evening experience for all my 9 family members.
Nice Inn to stay within budget
