The location is great, but the rooms require better upkeep. Housekeeping could use some enhancements.

Awesome place. Becomes too cold in the morning. Peacefull. Breakfast outside in the lawn is bliss. While reaching the place can be a hassle, but rest is all great, considering the place is away from all noice.

I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Bowai Chalet! The atmosphere is serene, lovely, and ideal for those wanting to relax and de-stress. The place is tidy, well-kept, and nestled in nature, providing a perfect getaway from the hectic city life. The staff were friendly and hospitable, making the entire experience unforgettable. If you're visiting Ooty, I strongly suggest Bowai Chalet for a peaceful and cozy stay. Can't wait to come back!

Located about 10 kilometers from the city center, this place offered a wonderful experience. The hospitality stood out—Ritvik from room service was very humble and kind, promptly handling all our questions and requests. The food was tasty and served on time. The views are the highlight here—an extensive lawn filled with wildflowers and sparrows, along with other birds. You can hear birds chirping as soon as you step outside. The location is ideal, away from the city and crowds, with plenty of parking space. However, some improvements are needed. The electric kettles and water containers were not very clean. The bathroom worked fine but could have been cleaner. The Wi-Fi was down from arrival until checkout, so we had to use mobile data, which can be spotty in this hilly area. Also, there was a discrepancy between menu prices and the bill charges. We didn't make a fuss and paid since the service was good compared to our previous stay, which was worse and more expensive. This pricing issue is significant and should be fixed. If these minor problems are resolved, it would be a perfect getaway. Overall, a great experience.
