Cleaning old lady behaviour was not good
Stayed at Hotel Ponmari and honestly, very disappointing.Parking space is extremely tight and difficult to manage, especially for bigger vehicles. There are no lifts, which makes it inconvenient for families, especially with luggage. The family room felt congested and not worth the high price charged.Breakfast was very basic – only dosa, idli, rice, and kesari. No variety, no refills, and not even tea included. Tables were dirty and not cleaned on time, and there didn’t seem to be enough staff to manage the breakfast crowd. The manager was running around handling everything, which clearly shows poor planning and lack of proper staffing.Also, serving coffee with unboiled milk is a serious hygiene and health concern, especially for families with children.The in-house restaurant is overpriced. Lunch and dinner are almost double the normal rates, and most dishes seem pre-prepared with excessive gravy, affecting taste and freshness.No additional facilities like gym or spa are available.Overall, not worth the money. Definitely not recommended when there are much better options available in Ooty.
