Back after 16 years! The exceptional service still makes this place special!We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Fortune Resort Sullivan Court, Ooty. I had actually stayed here back in 2010 and coming back in 2026, the property feels the exact same. While it is a very old building, the staff's warmth and top-notch service completely make up for its age!From Day 1, we felt thoroughly taken care of. We had a minor issue with the mattress, but the team immediately stepped in and resolved it without any hassle. The polite and proactive service from everyone - including the doormen and security guards was remarkable throughout our stay.A huge shout-out to Mr. Rajan (General Manager) even though he was on leave during our stay and we couldn't meet him in person, he was incredibly kind and seamlessly organized our reservation and arrangements beforehand.Special thanks to Ms. Monica (Guest Relations Manager), who went above and beyond to make us comfortable- her personal recommendations for local sightseeing, shopping and food were spot-on! Kudos as well to Chef Raja, who prepared lovely, delicious food for us, as well as Vaishnavi, Soumen, Hafiz, Supriya, Mohsin, Jobin, Sindhu, Pradeep and Monisha for their wonderful hospitality.A Small Suggestion for Management -Since we had a long stay, the hotel kindly offered a complimentary 30-minute spa/massage session. However, we found it a bit odd that it was offered for only one person! While a discount was offered for the second person, it would feel much more thoughtful - especially for long-staying couples, if the complimentary treatment covered both guests, even for a short session, with the option to pay for extra time if desired. That said, we had to pass on taking the massage session this time since we were pressed for time - perhaps next time!Overall, it was a nostalgic and very memorable trip. We would definitely come back again!
