Tranqville Resorts

The property view at Tranquville Resorts is truly remarkable, and the location is very peaceful. That is the only positive aspect of our stay.Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing due to several serious issues. The main door lock of the room was not working, which forced us to leave the room unlocked when we went out. I reported this immediately, and while the staff offered another room, it was very small and not properly cleaned, so I chose to adjust in the same room.The bathroom was poorly maintained—it was not cleaned properly, and the drainage was blocked with hair. The ceiling fan was not working, and although they provided a table fan after I reported it, this was only a temporary workaround.Breakfast was another major concern. There were no proper options available, only upma, watermelon, and bread with butter. The staff cited an LPG issue as the reason, but it felt more like an excuse for not providing basic food service. I clearly explained that I was traveling with a 1‑year‑old baby and that this food was not suitable, yet they were not willing to include even one additional item the next day. Due to this, I had to travel 30 minutes to Ooty town just to arrange breakfast.What was most disappointing is that I shared all this feedback on the first day itself, yet there was no effort to improve anything the following day. This clearly shows a lack of concern for customer feedback and overall guest experience.Because of these issues, I will not be visiting this property again and will not recommend it to others, despite the good location and view.

Worst experience. Do not book. Its actually 15km away from ooty. Even a seperated 7km road which is not a proper road also andnothing is there nearby.No tourist spots are near to this resort as mentioned. Min 10 km run. No shops nothing. No online food delivery. They are not providing food for drivers also making lame excuses. There are no mearby shops where driver can eat. Even only 2-3 type of food variety you can order. Worst experience.

First of all the location is so far deserted that it feels like you are going into the jungle to reach this resort. Once we reached there, we realised that network is patchy and there is no wifi. Once we entered the room, we could see that the bedliners were not clean. Probably they didn’t change from earlier occupants. There were hairs, foot marks and some weird brown stains in pillow cases and bed sheets. And lipstick marks in the towel. We had cockroaches and big spiders as our roommates. Even the water glasses had food stains. We couldn’t change the room as it was pretty late into the night and the receptionist goes to bed at 9 and is not reachable. And there is no intercom. We paid *k for two rooms per night and it is totally not worth it. Oh and also the view is not something to write home about. You could get better views from elsewhere. Because it’s so far out, Swiggy/Zomato dont deliver here. Overall the worst experience we had ever seen.
