British Cliff Club Resort

This place is situated right on the cliff, about a 5-minute drive from Ooty's downtown. The surroundings are very peaceful and away from traffic noise. The property offers stunning views. The service was pretty good, and the staff were very friendly. The food they served was tasty. However, there are two main issues: the road leading to the property is rough, almost like off-roading in some sections. Also, during power outages, you have to rely on candles since there is no inverter or backup power. Additionally, there are no shops or restaurants nearby; you need to go downtown for those. Don't expect any modern decor or amenities here. Upon entering, you get an antique vibe, which I really enjoyed.

Location is good. Friendly staffs. Ambience is too good. It locates on the cliff so Its hard to travel without own transport or walk. Own transport user can prefer without any hesitation. The management should have arrange a shuttle from their end to travel from hotel location to Main road. Auto rickshaws simply asking ’200 for a ride.

rooms were nice and well maintained but the main issue is reaching to the hotel , very steep and narrow road and its a bit old hoteland if you bonfire you need to pay 2000 extra which is not recommended

The rooms were pleasant and well kept, but the biggest problem is getting to the hotel due to a very steep and narrow road. The hotel is also somewhat old. Additionally, if you want a bonfire, you have to pay an extra 2000, which is not advisable.
