HOTEL MANECK MANOR

I was very let down by my stay at this hotel. Although I paid for a deluxe room, I was given the same basic room I had during a previous visit years ago. On top of that, the room smelled strongly and unpleasantly, and the curtains were all dirty. The worst issue was the hot water policy: hot water is only available between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. It seems they think guests don't want a warm bath at night. This was my second time staying here, and I won't be booking this hotel again.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. I booked a room through Agoda for about ₹4,400, which included charges for an extra bed. But when I arrived, they asked for an extra ₹1,500 to get a ground-floor room. Since I was with my elderly parents, I had specifically asked for a ground-floor room, but they first gave me a room on the second floor, and there was no elevator, which was very hard for my parents. The room was in bad shape—very dusty, not clean, unhygienic, and poorly maintained. The bathroom was also not well kept, and there was no proper hot water, making the stay uncomfortable. The dust caused me breathing problems and wheezing. I asked for a heater or an extra blanket because it was cold, but they didn’t provide either and ignored my requests. The staff’s behavior and communication were also disappointing; they were rude and seemed more interested in asking for extra money than offering good service. I stayed for three days and was unhappy the whole time. This stay negatively affected my trip. I strongly advise future guests, especially those with elderly family members, to think carefully before booking here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place.
