very good place....calm....good for family....but they dont provide even the basic things....1. no single glass tumbler for drinking water.....2. providing 2 small packet sugar for 3 people stayed......3. very less lightings u cant walk without torch after 6..... 4. 3 people cannot take bath one after another......have to wait for min 30 minutes to get next hot water.....having said that.....these all small small things but big impact which they have to get done immediately......apart from that....all other things r fine and super....u can book and enjoy.....nice property for family...bachelors....and lovers....
Housekeeping service is extremely poor. They rarely respond to your request. We took kings suite. The request to light the hearth was turned down.
We stayed in Kluney Manor for a couple of days. We did the booking through Agoda, abd the experience was smooth and good. Kluney Manor is a Victorian style guest house with about 30 rooms. The old Tudor style structures make a pleasant sight for those who value heritage. The location is good being just 3 kms away from Ooty town. The restaurant is also decent and provides some versatile cuisine at reasonable rates. However, our experience with Red Thai curry wasn't upto the mark, with the chef having cobbled up something in a hurry. The room are of decent size. However, the maintenance could have been better. The gardens are well manicured, and the flowers were in full bloom making the place picturesque. Overall a pleasant experience. I would recommend it for people who enjoy peace and tranquility in a heritage setting.
