Booked a room thinking the room will be in the main are but it was somewhere behind the main building they have made some rooms . Which didn't felt vintage. Should have improved the cleanliness of the overall property.

We booked a Standard Room based on the photographs and description displayed on Agoda. Unfortunately, the actual property was completely different from what was advertised. The images appear to be highly misleading and do not represent the true condition of the hotel.The room allotted to us was dark, damp, foul-smelling, dirty, and felt more like a dungeon than a hotel room. When we requested a room change, we were informed that we would have to pay a substantial amount to upgrade, despite the room provided being far below the standard that had been advertised.Even the most basic amenities were not provided. We had to repeatedly request essentials, and despite being located at a hill station, the hotel did not provide a room heater. When we asked for one, the receptionist bluntly informed us that it would cost an additional 500 per night.The overall property is in a shocking state of neglect. Paint is peeling off the walls, common areas are dirty, bathrooms and corridors smell unpleasant, and the rooms have extremely poor lighting. The management does not even switch on the common area lights until late in the evening, making the property feel unsafe and unwelcoming.There is no generator backup in case of a power outage. Instead, the hotel has merely installed emergency bulbs in the rooms, which is completely inadequate for a property charging guests for accommodation.The hotel is severely understaffed. A single employee was expected to handle housekeeping, engineering, and bell desk responsibilities, which inevitably resulted in poor service. The food was average at best and certainly not enough to compensate for the overall disappointing experience.My biggest disappointment is with Agoda. The photographs and descriptions on their platform are grossly misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. It is difficult to believe that such inaccurate listings continue to be displayed without verification.My advice to fellow travellers: Do not waste your hard-earned money on this property. Do not rely on the photographs shown on Agoda, as they are highly misleading. Many of the rooms do not even have proper ventilation. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had, and I would strongly discourage anyone from booking this property.

A must-visit spot for those who love food. The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff are very polite and respectful.

The rooms are excellent and the staff is the best. Book for all your friends to enjoy Ooty and the great rooms.

The hotel is good,value for money. I reached the hotel at 01.00 AM the front office was not there waited for about 20 minutes, then he came, he has not checked the mails , then I had to show him booking details. His face expression why you have come at this time 😃. Finally he gave us the room. I had asked for twin seperate bed. He gave us a King size bed. He didn't even bother to explain us about his constraints Next day morning we had switched on all switches but there was no hot water. We called him twice he didn't tell us about the switch location then he came, switched on a plug socket power switch and told us that we will get hot water which he could have informed over phone. But pathetic part is still we didn't get the hot water. Used electric kettle to get the hot water. So that was the simple summary of my experience. Breakfast starts at 08.30 AM . Before that you can't touch anything. Menu is very limited, ok we can accept, but supply was not fast Crowd is scrambling for the food
