The outdoor space was stunning and lovely, but the rooms were quite poor. The rooms were very cold and the water was freezing. There was no heater or anything similar. The only source of warmth was a fire that nearly harmed us. Even though we called reception several times to fix these problems, no one showed up. The service was really bad. The reception staff appeared uninterested and took a long time to check us in. Overall, the stay was very unpleasant.

Solo Traveller • Sep 2026I am giving one star because, while the property is beautiful and has a charming vintage-house atmosphere, and the staff were polite and helpful, our stay was very disappointing. The property was being used for a film shoot during our visit, and the crew kept restricting guests, telling us where we could go and park. Sometimes, the entire parking lot was taken by the crew, making parking very hard. The worst part was a generator running all night near our room, with smoke coming inside, causing constant disturbance and making it hard to sleep or enjoy our stay. If the property is rented out for filming, guests should not be accommodated then, or at least be informed beforehand. If you plan to stay here, I strongly suggest checking with the front desk before booking to see if any filming is scheduled, as this place seems often used for movie shoots.

The staff were also polite and helpful.However, our stay was very disappointing because the property was being used for a cinema shooting during our visit. The shooting crew constantly restricted guests, telling us where we could and could not go and where we could park our vehicles. At times, the entire parking area was occupied by the shooting crew, making it very difficult for us to park.The biggest issue was that a generator was running throughout the night near our room, and the smoke was coming inside. There was continuous disturbance throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep and enjoy our stay.If the property is being leased for a film shoot, I strongly feel that guests should not be accommodated during that period. At the very least, guests should be informed in advance about any ongoing shooting activities.If you are planning to stay here, I would strongly recommend asking the front desk before booking whether any cinema shooting is scheduled during your stay, as this property appears to be frequently used for film shoots.
