We had a wonderful stay during our recent visit to Coonoor in first week of June 2026. The place is fantastic with lot of flowers. Ancient British legacy can be seen everywhere. It is very much near to Sim 's Park and Market places. We were greatly welcome at the Reception and check in smooth. As we were to catch flight, they have served a little breakfast to us in early morning hours beyond their time schdule. How generous!!!. We will look forward to stay at the same place again.

During our recent trip to Coonoor in the first week of June 2026, we enjoyed a fantastic stay. The location is beautiful with many flowers, and the old British heritage is visible throughout. It's very close to Sim's Park and the markets. The reception staff welcomed us warmly and the check-in process was easy. Since we had an early flight, they kindly provided us with a small breakfast outside their usual hours. So thoughtful! We hope to stay here again in the future.

The food is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the property. The entire bungalow beautifully reflects the heritage character it promises, and the charm extends throughout the premises. The villa is adorned with a wonderful variety of flowers, all of which are exceptionally well maintained and add greatly to the overall ambience.The lawn is truly the heart of the resort. Whether in the early morning, afternoon, or evening, it is a lovely place to sit back with a cup of coffee and simply enjoy the surroundings. The peaceful atmosphere and greenery make it one of the most enjoyable parts of the stay.The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the heritage design has been preserved thoughtfully. However, guests should be aware that some rooms feature large colonial-style high beds. While steps are provided to access them, they are available only on one side, which may not be equally convenient for everyone.One aspect that could be improved is room comfort during warmer weather. The rooms do not have air conditioning, and given the wooden flooring and heritage construction, they tend to retain heat, making them noticeably warmer at night. During the current weather conditions, an AC would certainly have made the stay more comfortable, especially for guests who are accustomed to cooler sleeping temperatures. Some rooms also do not have windows, which can make them feel a little stuffy at times, particularly since there is neither air conditioning nor a ceiling fan. Interestingly, while the outdoors become pleasantly chilly after sunset, the rooms continue to remain warm, creating a noticeable contrast. Overall, while the property has many charming qualities, addressing ventilation and temperature control would significantly enhance guest comfort and improve the overall stay experience.As is often the case with heritage bungalows, some rooms are located adjacent to one another, and sound insulation is limited. Guests may occasionally hear conversations or movement from neighbouring rooms, so it is worth keeping expectations realistic on that front.A special mention must go to the manager, who was exceptionally warm, welcoming, responsive, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests had a pleasant experience.Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. The property excels in its heritage charm, food, gardens, and hospitality. A few practical enhancements, particularly around room ventilation, cooling, and comfort, would make the experience even better. If you appreciate heritage properties and are prepared for a few of the quirks that come with them, this remains a lovely place to spend a few days.
