A good stay with a few things that could be improvedWe stayed at this hotel in Coonoor for 4 days, and overall, the stay was quite pleasant. The Rainforest room was good, and the view from the room was excellent.That said, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve the guest experience:* The Rainforest rooms are east-facing, so the sunrise brings in very bright sunlight as early as 6 AM. Adding proper blackout curtains would make a big difference, especially for guests who want to sleep in.* No bathroom towels or toiletries were provided, which was inconvenient and something the hotel should address.* The breakfast was almost the same on all four days of our stay. Adding more variety and rotating the menu would make the experience much better.* The hotel restaurant was extremely expensive, especially the dinner menu and buffet. Unfortunately, the food did not feel worth the price. We found that eating at nearby restaurants or ordering through Swiggy offered better-tasting food at much more reasonable prices.Important tip for guests: Don’t miss the delicious desserts from Moddys while you’re staying in Coonoor/Ooty! 🍰 They are definitely worth trying.

Wonderful resort. Allows pets. Service is excellent and welcoming. Food is tasty. However, the atmosphere is the highlight. I dedicated a morning solely to capturing photos. See the pictures yourself as words fall short.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were large and provided nice views since the resort is located right next to Lambs Rock in Coonoor. The service was acceptable but not outstanding. Our food orders often took an additional 20-25 minutes beyond the requested time, so we had to wait. The taste was okay but nothing special. The resort has a jungle-like atmosphere which is pleasant, but it may not suit everyone due to the many insects and animals wandering around. I would suggest the management improve the road leading to the resort, as it is very rough and rocky, making it difficult for guests driving their own vehicles.

I'm still amazed by our experience at your resort. Words can't fully capture how wonderful it was. From the moment we got there, the surrounding greenery instantly eased our stress. The resort's views look like something from a postcard—every spot is ideal for photos. Highlights include: the food, which was fresh, tasty, and comforting; the staff, who were warm, supportive, and made us feel like family; the rooms, which were clean, cozy, and well kept; and the overall atmosphere, which was stunning. If you're visiting Coonoor, I wholeheartedly suggest this resort. It's tranquil, beautiful, and a place that leaves you feeling fulfilled. Highly recommended for couples. There was no power backup. On 18 July 2026, the power was out for 6 hours and there was no internet during that time. No room service was provided. There was no intercom. The network was poor. For every need, we had to go downstairs to inform someone.
