Coorg Ashok Palace

Stayed at Hotel Coorg Palace for three nights with my family and our 2-year-old, and we found it very comfortable overall. The location is fantastic—close to Raja’s Seat, the museum, temple, and Madikeri market. Parking is convenient if you have a car. What stood out most was the staff's hospitality; they were very helpful and accommodating throughout our visit. Traveling with a child, they provided hot milk when needed, arranged an iron for clothes, helped with a car wash upon request, and supplied drinking water bottles as required. These small touches made our stay much easier. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, but the dining options could be better since there is no in-house kitchen. Ordering food via Swiggy is straightforward, and the hotel supplies plates and cutlery. The balcony and common areas lack notable views or atmosphere. Air conditioning is available but might not be necessary given Madikeri’s pleasant climate. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for families, especially due to its location, parking, and truly helpful staff. The hospitality deserves a special 5 out of 5.

I had a very enjoyable stay here! The location is definitely a major plus — it's very central and makes it easy to visit all the key tourist spots and attractions. The rooms are decent, clean, and the beds were well kept. One minor downside is that some rooms don’t get much natural light, so ventilation might be a bit of an issue. Still, the Wi-Fi is strong, the artificial lighting is good, and the overall room experience was comfortable. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hospitality! The staff were very warm, welcoming, and helpful. Special thanks to Benvith, who was very kind and assisted us with even the smallest requests. He treated us like family and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was fantastic — truly 10/10! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, especially for the excellent service, warm hospitality, convenient location, and wonderful staff. A big thank you to Benvith for making our stay even more special!

Truly a great experience... I will definitely return

This place is wonderful in every aspect. We stayed in a suite (two rooms plus a shared area), which made our stay very convenient and cozy. The service was excellent too. The complimentary breakfast was enjoyable. The staff were helpful; when we accidentally left a bag behind, they contacted us and quickly returned it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

A nice spot for a family stay. The rooms are tidy, and the staff are kind and helpful. They offer 24-hour customer support, which is very useful. The location is handy, close to a tea shop, hospital, and grocery store. In general, our stay was pleasant and comfortable.
