Dazzle Villa Resort

We had a very disappointing stay at this resort. The place was poorly maintained and unhygienic, with dirty rooms, foul-smelling couch and blankets, and bathrooms in pathetic condition. There were spider webs and cockroaches, and even exposed wiring made it feel unsafe. Service was very poor, and the manager showed no concern despite requests. Breakfast was minimal and disappointing. The resort claims to be five-star, but it felt like a low-grade lodge. Only the view was decent. Overall, a very bad experience and not recommended.

The breakfast was limited and did not meet expectations. Even though the resort claims to be five-star, the overall experience felt more like a budget lodge. The only good thing was the beautiful view. Sadly, I cannot recommend this resort and will not stay here again.

Our stay at this resort was very disappointing. We stayed in Villa No. 14, the top villa next to the pool, and found the entire property to be poorly maintained and unhygienic. The villa was dirty, with spider webs and cockroaches in several rooms. The couch and blankets smelled bad, the bedrooms had a strong odor, and the bathrooms were in terrible condition. Even the door knobs were sticky, and the geyser had exposed wires, making it look unsafe and very outdated. Despite asking for better service and a different breakfast menu, the manager (Shamnas) was indifferent and unwilling to assist. I had stayed here a few years ago when the resort was new, and the experience was great. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. Everyone in our group wanted to leave first thing the next morning. I am including photos of the villa to show its real condition. I will never return to this resort and cannot recommend it to anyone I know. Honestly, this was my worst experience with the resort. If you plan to book after reading this, I advise checking the latest photos or videos of the villa at the time of your booking.

We stayed in Villa 5 (AC Jacuzzi Room). Here are the positives: 1. The views are breathtaking and really the main reason for the cost. 2. The beds and pillows are comfy. 3. Both the Jacuzzi and AC work well. 4. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast enough for uninterrupted work, including accessing shared points and remote servers. 5. Parking is available, and the road to the resort is good, with only a short cobblestone section near the entrance. We drove a Hyundai I20 without any issues. 6. They can arrange rickshaw rides nearby for a fee and also taxi services with a driver for sightseeing at reasonable prices. 7. Hot water is available if you turn on the heater and wait a bit. 8. The kitchenette includes a fridge, electric stove, mugs, glasses, plates, frying pan, knife, spoon, and fork. 9. A TV with major OTT platforms is provided. 10. We received 4-5 one-liter water bottles daily. 11. The bathroom is decent. 12. Toiletries like dental kits, soaps, shampoo, and slippers are supplied. 13. Breakfast is complimentary and served in the morning. 14. Room service is offered, and cleaning is done on request. The staff are kind and helpful, so be patient with them. 15. There are many birds outside. Cons: 1. Frequent power outages occurred both nights we stayed in Villa 5, which was frustrating. The manager fixed it quickly each time, but the repeated interruptions at night were annoying enough to deter a return. 2. The water heater works but doesn’t produce enough hot water to fill the Jacuzzi, so we couldn’t fully enjoy it. 3. There is no in-house restaurant; instead, you order from a nearby restaurant via phone. The food is average. 4. The bed sheets and comforter covers had mild stains; updating these would improve the experience. 5. The shower control was broken but still functional; it should be fixed soon. 6. Monkeys and bugs are common outside due to the dense trees and plants, so keep doors and windows closed to avoid visits from monkeys. Would I recommend this stay? Not Villa 5 with the Jacuzzi. Other rooms might be better. I would consider returning if the issues with Villa 5 are resolved.
