Destiny Farm Resort ’ Beautiful Valley, But Not Worth the Stay2/5Getting ThereThe road leading to the resort is a serious concern that cannot be overlooked. Only jeeps can navigate it, and the journey will leave anyone with significant back pain ’ not just those with pre-existing conditions. This alone should be disclosed upfront by the property.The Property & ActivitiesThis is where Destiny genuinely shines. The valley is picturesque and the natural surroundings are stunning. If you're visiting with young children (roughly ages 3’10), the farm activities ’ horse riding, sheep rearing, fishing ’ are delightful and well-run. For a day trip with kids, it's hard to beat.RoomsOkayish at best, and certainly not 3-star standard. Facilities are bare minimum ’ no TV, no room heater ’ and the distance from rooms to the restaurant or reception is unreasonably long. On difficult, uneven terrain, this walk becomes genuinely uncomfortable and compounds the back strain that started on the road in.RestaurantSmall, overpriced, and identity-less ’ it doesn't commit to continental, North Indian, or South Indian cuisine, and doesn't execute any of them well. The ambience adds nothing to the experience. The food quality does not justify the prices.SpaOverpriced for what is delivered. The massage quality was amateur ’ not what you'd expect even from a mid-range property.VerdictCome for a day trip, do the activities with your children, soak in the valley views, and leave. As a stay ’ especially at 3-star pricing ’ it falls well short. Guests with any mobility concerns or back issues should think twice before booking.

’ A Refreshing Mountain Retreat with a Farm Twist’The place offers absolutely stunning mountain views that instantly make you slow down and soak in nature. One of the highlights was the farm animal experience’so wholesome and perfect, especially if you’re visiting with kids.The property is very well maintained and clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. The staff were polite and courteous, with a special mention to the lovely lady at the sheep farm who made the experience even more memorable.Do note, you need to travel around 3 km from the parking area to reach the resort, and the road isn’t in the best condition’so be prepared for a slightly bumpy ride.Overall, a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings and a unique farm experience’definitely worth visiting!

Okay this has to be one of the top 5 places I have stayed in , and the best for mountain resorts, don't know how this is 3 stars because honestly should be atleast 4.5 if not 5Had stayed here once around 9 yrs back , and it is still the amazing huge valley I remember-The access road is a little bumpy and narrow , they have transport trucks with each time slot , for the final stretch from parking lot till entrance.The final stretch is a part of the thrilling experienceIt is not easy to build such a well organised resort in the midst of mountains , with no access to outside facilitiesBreathtaking views , and overlooking a wide valleyRooms are spacious, with balconies , every room has guaranteed amazing viewsTea , coffee setup with biscuits and pistachios provided , and the bathrooms are really modernNote: You don't have to call them for hot water , after waiting for a few mins the hot water starts coming upon turning on the tap or showerheadTheir service is of excellent quality, i honestly don't know how they do it , but they are always there to fulfill each and every request. Extremely polite , humble and resilient. Words aren't enough to express this part.They have a well organised and comprehensive activity chart with timings and venues , and each activity venue is well managed , plenty of things to do and enjoy.Food aspect covered perfectly as well , they have buffet option for every meal and lot of variety and an amazing spread , no doubt whatsoever , there's something for everybody.Huge thank you to Vishnu sir , Yohan sir for helping us make our stay more memorable , and a big thank you to Sugail sir for taking us on the exciting jeep ride.There are designated caretakers for each animal in the resort ,having rabbits,horses,sheep which we can interact with , pet and feed with proper supervision, they are taken care of properly.You can take a rabbit home as well for a price , I'm not sure but I think it's around 2k per rabbit.Also provide other activities like cycling , and sessions in their spaThe only 2 things absent here are a swimming pool and a gym.To answer all the questions regarding these , the pool is not built due to the constant cool or cold weather , although they do have a Jacuzzi in the spaThankfully, the plan for a gym is underway and hoping to see it soon.They have slowly built each part year by year , to the resort we see today.Owned by the Little Earth group , home to other stay places like the Kings Cliff and Sherlocks , I have stayed at kings cliff as well- and i must say , the Little Earth group is doing a wonderful job.It's a perfect mix of leisure , modernness and nature.Note: Before entering or leaving the resort , i recommend eating light , as like i said the ride is bumpy and you may feel sick and uneasy.Just a few pointers to improve:Putting door stoppers in every roomMore house fly repellentsApart from these , overall an amazing resort, should not miss this ,.perfect for family , solo ,.or any group gatheringThank you for a great stay guys ’?

I stayed for one night in a superior room at Destiny ’ The Farm Resort. The room was excellent, and the views were absolutely picturesque. The overall vibe of the place is very calm, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing in nature.However, the zip line activity was under maintenance during our stay, so we couldn’t experience it. While the location and ambiance were great, I felt the stay was a bit pricey. Despite the high cost, only breakfast was complimentary, and lunch and dinner had to be paid for separately.The food quality was average, and we had to wait quite a long time for dinner to be served. Additionally, most activities were charged separately. Even renting a cycle for a short ride cost ’350 per cycle, which felt a bit expensive.My suggestion would be to offer more inclusive packages with activities included in the stay to make it more budget-friendly. It would also be great if the resort added more activities for guests. A swimming pool would definitely be a wonderful addition to the property.Overall, it is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit, but a few improvements in service and inclusions would make the experience much better.

Excellent location away from the crowded regions. Good place for small kids to teach cow milking sheep feeding and other activities. Morning walk to the mountains and forest are the best activities. Our guide Nachikethan was superb very knowledgable. Overall nice place can be a bit pricey wide price range so better to check and book.
