FabHotel Golden Gate - Hitech City

The staff behaved very poorly. They kept asking for extra money at check-in. I advise no one to stay at this hotel.

Nice and pleasant atmosphere

I've been here over 10 times haha. This is the go-to spot for our group to hang out.

The rooms were terrible. The floor was sticky and very unpleasant. The bedsheet was stained, had a cigarette burn in one corner, and smelled like it hadn't been washed. The bathroom was infested with small cockroaches on the floor, sink, and bucket. I booked through the FabHotel app and paid in advance, but upon arrival, they refused to check me in, saying the amount paid was too low and I had to pay extra. FabHotel customer service didn't resolve the issue properly. Running late, I paid the additional amount, but the room was not worth even a quarter of the price. I had to check out the same evening because I couldn't sleep in a room full of cockroaches.

We paid a large extra charge (almost half the booking price) for early check-in and confirmed this several times beforehand, including via WhatsApp and a reminder the evening before. Still, the room was not ready as promised. The situation was made worse by the total lack of basic service and politeness. The receptionist was dismissive and unhelpful, and when we complained, he said exactly: “this is not my problem.” No effort was made to offer alternatives or fix the issue. Additionally, there is no proper reception or lobby area to wait in, nor any guest restroom available in such cases (only a workers' bathroom located outside the building). Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience, especially considering the prior confirmations and the extra fee paid.
