2.0
This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I would definitely not recommend this stay.We had booked two rooms. While one room was fine, the other had a strong sewage like smell, apparently due to a drainage/sewage issue. When we reported it, we were moved to the room directly below, only to find the exact same problem. It was extremely disappointing that the room was assigned to us without the basic condition being checked beforehand. When we requested another room, we were initially told that there were no vacant rooms available. However, after a few phone calls, the staff suddenly managed to find another room. Unfortunately, this room also appeared to have been closed for quite some time and had a strong stale smell. We had to request room freshener, which helped only to some extent. What made the situation even more frustrating was that, while moving through the lobby, we personally saw two vacant rooms, one of which was being cleaned and appeared neat and ready. Yet, when we asked at reception, we were repeatedly told that there were no vacant rooms available. This raised serious questions about the transparency and communication of the staff. To make matters worse, the AC in the final room was not functioning properly. Since it was already very late at night and we had already gone through multiple room changes, we simply chose to tolerate it rather than start the entire process again. The next morning brought even more issues. The hand shower was broken and leaking badly, and the room had clearly not been cleaned properly. We even found hair from the previous guest, which we discovered only while taking a shower. This was particularly disappointing from a basic hygiene and housekeeping perspective. However, the biggest disappointment was not even the condition of the rooms - it was the way our complaints and feedback were handled. After experiencing so many issues one after another, we expected at least some acknowledgment, concern, or a basic apology. Instead, our concerns were largely neglected, with very little accountability or courtesy from the staff.Problems can happen at any hotel. What truly matters is how the hotel responds when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, in this case, both the maintenance and the guest -service response were extremely disappointing.**Overall:** Multiple room changes, sewage -like smells, poor maintenance, a malfunctioning AC, broken bathroom fixtures, inadequate housekeeping, hygiene concerns, and, most importantly, a disappointing attitude towards guest complaints.**I would not recommend this stay at all\.** If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and hassle - free experience, I would strongly suggest considering other options.

2.0
I had a very disappointing and disturbing stay at Geeta Sarovar Portico, Panipat. The most alarming issue was with the refillable shampoo dispenser in my bathroom. The shampoo had an extremely foul, sewage-like smell that was completely unlike any normal shampoo. Unfortunately, I had already used it while bathing before realizing something was seriously wrong. I have no way of knowing what was inside the dispenser, but the smell and quality were so abnormal that it raised serious concerns about hygiene, housekeeping standards, and guest safety. For a hotel that claims to offer quality hospitality, this is simply unacceptable. Bathroom toiletries should be properly monitored, replaced, and checked regularly. Guests should never have to worry about whether the products provided are safe to use.I reported the issue because I believe management needs to investigate how this happened and ensure it cannot happen again. I hope this review encourages the hotel to improve its quality control and housekeeping procedures.I would advise future guests to inspect refillable toiletry dispensers before using them.Very disappointing experience, and certainly not what I expected from a Sarovar property.
