His attention to detail and caring nature made every dining experience exceptional.The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offers breathtaking views that are difficult to put into words. Sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea and admiring the mountains was one of the best parts of our trip.I've stayed at many hotels, but the hospitality at Grand View is truly special. Dalhousie is a beautiful destination, but staying at Grand View made the trip unforgettable. This is my second visit to this historic British raj hotel after 12 years and I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of service and facility have gone up even when the previous experiences were exceptional. Though this hotel is not from any luxury chain but it is comparable to any luxury hotel in terms of quality of service. Being a family run hotel the sense of personal touch is evident everywhere in theproperty and restaurant. None of the visitors including my family ever felt being ignored by staff. The restaurant worked like well oiled machine every day. The choice of cuisine, the taste, the quality and the cutlery/equipments every thing was top notch. The staff is all that makes real difference in your experience. They were always a call away ready to help you out; polite and professional. The hard work of the management, restaurant manager and facilities is visible everywhere right from the cart up the hotel to rooms, evening dinners and bonfires/parties.Very rare hospitality level I have experienced throughout my travels across the world where things have become mechanical. The hotel is beautifully nestled amidst nature and offers a truly peaceful and scenic stay. We stayed for three nights in a Superior Room, which was extremely spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains directly from our room, while the balcony offered an absolutely stunning panorama.The food was exceptional throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner had an extensive and delicious spread, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The hospitality of the staff deserves special appreciation ’ every member of the team was polite, warm, well-trained, and always ready to help.A special mention to the restaurant manager, Mr. Rana, who took wonderful care of all the guests and also guided us regarding sightseeing places in and around Dalhousie. The owner, Radhika ji, personally interacted with guests to ensure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their stay, which added a very personal touch to the hospitality.Special mention about Virender, he is so kind and helpful, i wasn’t feeling well and he arranged a light food for me. Really grateful.The hotel also arranged karaoke sessions during dinner, which made the evenings even more enjoyable ’ my wife and daughter had a lovely time singing there.Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dalhousie for a comfortable, memorable, and relaxing stay.
