Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever encountered. The rooms were filthy and did not resemble the pictures shown on booking sites at all. The cleanliness was appalling—you can't imagine how dirty the rooms were. It was impossible to feel at ease staying there. I had reserved the hotel for 2 nights but could barely stay for 1 night. The room conditions were so terrible that I checked out the next day and found another hotel. That's how intolerable it was. When we complained and asked for a room change, the receptionist switched our room 2–3 times. Yet, every room was in the same bad state. The receptionist even admitted, without any concern, that all their rooms are like that. If you don't want to waste your money, avoid booking this hotel. The property is badly maintained, the online photos are deceptive, and the real condition is far from what is shown. I would never suggest Horseland Resort, Matheran, to anyone.

Extremely let down by this stay. When we booked, the staff mentioned a much lower rate, but afterward, they asked for a lot more money. It seemed deceptive and unprofessional. The service was lacking and pricing was not clear. I wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone. Make sure to verify the total cost before booking to prevent this kind of issue.

This was the worst experience I've had. I wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone. I booked through Agoda and got a confirmation email, but when I arrived, the hotel staff said they never got any confirmation from Agoda, which caused a lot of hassle and wasted my time. They also charged extra for my 5 and 6-year-old kids, even though no extra fees were mentioned during booking. The room was filthy and badly kept, with no basic items like towels provided, and the cleanliness was poor. The staff didn't help with these problems either. Overall, it was a dreadful stay, and I won't come back or recommend this place. Think carefully before booking here.
